The campus spent a lot of money on the aesthetics and they are very nice. Library has been recently updated and is very nice.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I get some help with financial aid from other resources, but it is running out this semester. This school is a great school but I can't keep going if I don't have financial aid to help me through

The facilities on campus are pretty good, there is a brand new library which is huge and is filled with plenty of valuable resources. There are two gyms on campus, one for games such as basketball and volleyball games and the other is a workout gym with a court room which allows students to play sports whenever the gym is open.

My school has a cub camp program for incoming freshmen. The program is to help new students learn about the school and meet new people before school starts. sophomores, juniors, and seniors are the counselors and the whole camp is split into teams where they play games sing songs ect. The program helps incoming freshmen to relax and have fun before classes begin.

I really like my school academic wise, the classes are not too big and the teachers are very involved. I do however have a problem with the online classes site, it has a very plain look and the links are not in any order. It is very confusing at first glance, and you really have to look around the page to find what you are looking for.

I'm an early childhood education major, and my classes are very challenging but full of insightful information. My professors have an abundance amount of experience in the field which relieves me because some times you get professors who do not know much about the course they are teaching. Most of my classes are fun meaning we get to do fun projects or observation in elementary schools and other classes are strictly lecture and homework, which I do not mind because it very interesting to me; and I know I need to understand the material to be the best teacher I can be.

The facilities on campus are all amazing, very well kept up, clean, enough space for the events being held, all very new. My school tries to keep everything up to date with todays society. The library just got updated added a lot more computers, books, and even study rooms. The student center is now being remodeled for a newer look. All the classrooms are always clean and the athletic center is to. The athletic center just got a new basketball arena a couple years ago, it now is big enough for them to have support from family and friends during games and also is big enough to be able to have graduation inside.

The computer network team is always good when something bad happens. They send out a mass email if something goes wrong and they tell you exactly how long a particular site will be closed and they get it fixed immediately. If there is a problem that isn't to serious they try to hold the problem out till a time that the majority of students will not be on.

I have taken web enhanced classes so it is half and half and I love every bit of it. I thought it was going to be hard having class and then having my homework and test online but it made it easier for me to understand and was more convenient. I have heard the full online classes are also really good with what they learn and also for communicating.

My school has 50/50 of traditional and non traditional students. They also have really supportive teachers, advisors and even college students themselves. Some weeks my school has games they anyone is allowed to participate in one week it was zombies vs. human week the people had nerf guns and would only play this game after their classes. My school is able to help every student break away from reality even for just a second with the fun activities they have every once in a while.

They just built a new library and have plenty of computers available as well as full time tutors and counselors.

We use the blackboard system, which is not that great, but the teachers are great about staying in touch and helping you learn remotely.
College Junior 2013-08-09T19:31:05Z
I feel the course load is pretty easy and tuned toward non-traditional students and people who didn't have a lot of options for enrollment.
College Junior 2013-08-09T19:29:47Z
We are split about 50/50 with traditional, "straight out of high school kids", and non-traditional students. I started when I was 28 and I was probably in the middle of the age range. Plenty of classes are offered at times that assist students who are balancing their school and work schedules.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
They Should Be More Proactive – The school financial aid officers should use the web to find more financial aid that students might not be aware of. We are required every semester to meet at least once with an academic adviser. We should be required to meet with a financial adviser as well.
College Junior 2013-08-09T19:16:32Z
I feel like the course load could be more rigorous and challenging. It seems the faculty wants you to succeed, but at the cost of passing some students who have no business graduating.

I can not complain with the professors that I've had so far, the workload is collegiate level and I've always stuided on my own but tutoring is available
College Sophomore 2013-07-31T22:44:11Z
I've had a course where everything was online but there was still a classroom setting, I havn't been in an online course but I think that it would be pretty self-teaching

The campus is beautiful and all of the buildings are fairly close together making it easy to get to class on time.
The restaurant area in the campus center is nice. It has a Starbucks, Pizza Hut, and Chik-Fil-A in it along with a few others. The food you can get there is absolutely amazing.
College Freshman 2013-07-30T17:42:37Z
All of the professors I've had have been great for the most part. They have offered plenty of office hours and even the teachers that aren't very good in the classroom will break things down and explain them for you simply.
It's really easy to register for classes. You can do it online from home or you can go to campus and have your adviser help you.
For me, the workload seems very heavy. However, from the people I've talked to, once you get out of the science department the workload is completely manageable.
College Freshman 2013-07-30T17:37:35Z
I'm a biology major so, as expected, the workload is quite high. The classes are interesting though because all of the teachers have direct experience working in the field and it's interesting to hear their stories and how it relates to what you're learning.
For me in particular, I want to work in a zoological field and it seems as though the college is more focused on trying to make the degree and the extra classes available more for pharmaceutical or pre-med students. It's very frustrating
College Freshman 2013-07-30T17:32:49Z
Due to being diagnosed with a chronic disease my first semester (In 2011) I had to drop out. However, I returned in 2013 only to find that dropping out due to health problems had caused my financial aid to be suspended. This has caused me to be placed on an academic plan which is still making it difficult for me to focus on my classes.
College Junior 2013-07-24T21:19:45Z
I feel like my college is unorganized and difficult.
