Pomfret environment depends on what wing you are on. I was in Bwing, and it was great. People are friendly and diverse. The great room is a great place to hang out and do homework. There is always some kind of event going on which is cool. The cafeteria is decent. It gets the job done, but can be repetitive. One negative is the walk up hill--killer. No worries, there are always buses running as long as its from 7am-6pm.

"Ninety percent of success is showing up," as Woody Allen once said, and this saying applies with going to class. Some teachers keep attendance, but most don't. It's easy to get carried away with the party scene and flunk out, but students who try hard and show up to class will be fine. The University provides everything you could ever need to succeed at your fingertips—you just have to grab it!
