There are many reasons why attending UB is a great experience for students. One, the student-to-teacher ratio is 18 to 1, which is commendable because students can receive feedback and more one-on-one time with professors. The majors and classes are eye-opening and interesting, as well. Another great facet of UB is that it's diverse and transfer friendly. Once students are ready to move on from UB, the Career Center helps students find the right career path to help them land their dream job. Students from all over Maryland and the United States can enroll at UB and have a good academic and social experience.

While the University doesn't have residence life, nor does it have traditional dining halls, the apartments offered in the area are great, and the restaurants are close and feature delicious food. Because there aren't any dorms, students and parents save money because the tuition does not include room and board, meal plans, and other extra fees and expenses associated with traditional schools. Moreover, the tuition is cheaper compared to other Maryland schools, both private and public.
