The academic experience at the University of Baltimore is very diverse. There are academic advisers that are willing to help make the best transition possible, whether it's from high school to college, or the process of transferring from another school. An academic adviser will set out the general requirements for a student's major. The areas of study that are available at UB include a wide range of concentrations, including law, English, web design, forensic science, and business management. There are courses that are lecture only; however, there are hands-on activities and internships for juniors and seniors, as well.
There are four schools within the University of Baltimore: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Public Affairs, the School of Law, and the School of Business. The College of Arts and Sciences includes history, psychology, and English majors, while Public Affairs offers courses for students majoring in criminal justice, government, public policy, and international studies. Also, UB has honor programs, online programs, and off-campus programs for first-time and graduate students. Overall, UB is a very transfer-friendly university.
