University of Bridgeport

The Parking Is Decent , but Sometimes Bad.

The University of Bridgeport does offer us a way to rent cars called Hertz and use them for our needs, which is a benefit. Also, there is no cost for parking at the University, it is free.There are parking spaces, but when there are events going on or just anything going on, on campus, the availability and convenience of parking spots begin to decrease because so many other people are taking up the parking spots that are usually available. This makes it difficult for the students, and they will then have to park else where, sometimes unfortunately farther away from where they live or where they are trying to park, If this happens late at night, it can be a bit scary or unsafe.

The Atmosphere Is Great

The great thing about the University if Bridgeport is the fact that they give us forms of transportation. There are shuttles that take us to many parts of campus and outside campus. Students are also able to ride the Bridgeport city bus for free too. The bus is able to take us out of Bridgeport to malls in cities of Connecticut such as Trumbull and Milford. We are l located right near Sea Side Park, which is fun to go to and have fun on the beach with friends and just to chill out and relax. An ice cream truck comes by when the weather begins to get warmer and we can enjoy delicious ice cream. All students have a PAL which is used as a form of security. The student center and the library has beautiful scenery including pictures of our sports champions. Our sports are great and it is fun to go to their games because our school has so much school spirit.

Campus Activities Are Wonderful

The University of Bridgeport does a great job when it comes to promoting and having various campus activities. For example, some are: welcoming all freshman, a campus get together, carnivals, health and safety check-ups, and so much more. All of the activities done on campus allows all the students to get together, learn more about each other, explore the school and the different organizations, get involved, stay active, and have fun. Students are even able to go to these activities and see friends they do not always get to see because of issues like the times they have classes being different. They bring the students of the University of Bridgeport together as one big and unique family. I believe everyone enjoys them and looks forward to them every single year.
