There are more scholarships available at UBC than other schools I applied to, but they are very competitive.

Entrance scholarships are relatively easy to get (for international students) but after that financial aid is much more difficult to find

Easy for People Here – If you're international with no scholarship, go to a community college and transfer. If you hold citizenship or have money, go ahead. Student aid here is pretty tough, but it was pretty easy covering bases with about a grand stuffed away for emergency-although you will need the extra for when your aid come in irregularly.

More Instructions Needed – The guidance on the website and from other guidance counsellors could have been clearer and more concise.

I received entrance scholarship when I was first year. Besides getting good grades in the following years to get scholoarships, UBC career service website show the list of job opportunity or work learn position for student. I had been working as notetaker for 2 terms. It might be competitive to get a job depending on the demand.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
