Berkeley is such a big school; is it hard to adjust to its size and make lasting friendships?
i think its hard to adjust to its size but you will get used to it, and clubs can certainly help you with friendship
From what I've been told, don't rush it. You will make friends, but just try and put yourself out there as much as possible, go to clubs of things that interest you, go out when you are invited to, and generally be social. The size can be intimidating but even though there are ~ 35000 people that go here, you always run into somebody you know when you're on campus!
