Public transportation is good. Since I don't have a car, I take the bus often, especially on the weekends. Taking the bus is a good way to explore new places.

Th drug scene at UCI is not really big and noticeable. There are a few drug scenes that happen, but the campus is still safe. However, drinking is more popular.

The facilities at UCI are really good. The ARC has a lot of facilities and programs for students. You can participate in many programs and classes, such as belly dancing and cooking classes. The Student Center is a good place, too. You can eat and hang out with friends here during lunch hour, and it also offers places where you can study, especially during finals week when is open really late.

I think security is pretty tight around here. I always see police driving around, and there are call booths for those who need aid on campus.

The campus is strict about parties and underage drinking. The reason why people don't party in Irvine is because the police will crash the party at 11 p.m.—yes, 11. They then write you up, so people don't even bother risking it.

The only good food on campus is Le Diplomate. It is across campus, but it's really, really good and I recommend it. As for the cafeterias on campus, I have to say that Pippin is the best.

The types of guys you will find on campus are fraternity boys or doctors or businessmen in the making. It's the same with the girls—everybody has a goal here. A typical student knows how to study but also know when to have fun.

Irvine is more of a family kind of town. It is very clean and peaceful, which is not good for a college community because we are always so loud. Everything closes so early, and basically all we can do is eat. So, life in the town of Irvine can be quite boring at times.
