Club Hopping – UCLA has a really diverse community. It seems like all races and religions are represented, and there's a club for everyone. Ethnicities are big on broadcasting themselves here via clubs or events.

Greek or Bust – Most of the most fun parties are centered on frats, so if you're a girl, it's helpful to be in a sorority.

Can be difficult – Getting a pass is reallly difficult unless you can prove you have an off-campus job (which many students are fabulous at faking).

Greek or Bust – Nightlife, for most students, revolves around the Greek scene. Frats will let girls in anytime, but guys really need to be in one to have a good time if they want to be involved.

I Heart Westwood – Westwood is the ideal college town-it's definitely got some variety but at the same time is very manageable. There are some great theaters, bars, and an overload of sushi!

Some parts of UCLA are outdated, but for the most part, our facilities are clean and laid out well. The gym's a little small for the size of the student body, but it's really nice.

Always Spring – The weather is amazing here! There aren't exactly "seasons," but it's springtime year-round, and that's the way I like it.

Caps a Lot – RAs can be tough, and cops are always cruising around late at night. Don't walk with drinks.

Eh . . . nothing is out in open – You can get drugs if you're interested, but nothing's really out in the open. Weed is usually at frat parties, but that's the only drug that's visible.

Guys & Girls:
The girls are hot – Lots of the guys here used to be nerdy in high school and sometimes can act cocky as they get used to girls actually liking them. Girls are down to earth, smart, and HOT.

Dining on campus is better than my mom's kitchen! Every dining hall has a theme or "specialty"-they're all delicious. Hedrick Hall even has sushi twice a week.

There's a House for Everyone – Greek life tends to run the social scene, so if you're in a house, it's going to be a good time. There's definitely a frat or sorority for everyone-they're really diverse.

Number One! UCLA sports are nationally famous-we've won more than 100 NCAA championships. Everyone comes out to support at football games-the student section is always packed and crazy. Tailgating at the Rose Bowl is a guaranteed good time.

Love It! UCLA is the perfect balance: great academics, awesome sports teams, super-fun social scene. I'm so glad I came here because I'm getting the classic college experience and feel like I'm not being cheated in any area.

Easy Apartments – The big plus about off-campus housing is that parking spots are usually included! The off-campus apartments are near classes and campus. I have the convenience of a dorm but get to do my own thing!

Health & Safety:
Not a Problem – There have been a few little incidents here and there, but for the most part I always feel safe on campus and in the surrounding area, even when I'm alone late at night. I think that really speaks to the niceness of the area and the strength of the university police.

RAs Are Alright – RAs (resident assistants) aren't too strict in most of the dorms, but in others they can crack down often.

The professors here aren't hugely accessible, but if you make the effort to come to office hours you really can form relationships with them and feel like a more involved part of the class. Registration is tough.

Off Campus Is Fav – It's tough to find great places that will take my BruinCard, but it's still easy to find yummy places.

Dining Is Amazing – Dining halls here are AMAZING. The menus are always diverse and changing, and they include creative concoctions that are both delicious and healthy. The best places to eat are Rendezvous and Bruin Café.

What to Do? Between Santa Monica and Westwood, there's all the shopping and food variety anyone could ask for. I'm often overwhelmed by all the choices!

Great Location – Being in the middle of Los Angeles allows for so many incredible off-campus activities. The public transportation system is great if you don't have a car, and you can get pretty much anywhere for almost nothing.

The weather is exactly what you'd expect from Southern California. It seems like it's 75 degrees almost every day. Even in the middle of winter, people are outside tanning and playing sports. Early fall and spring are the best because it's so nice outside all the time.

Satisfied Overall – You need to have a computer to go to school here. Most of the classes require Internet access and a working e-mail address. The computer labs are nice, and printing availability is great. Network speed is fine, but it's nothing to brag about. I wish they had wireless in all the dorms though.

There are great buses.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
