Advice on Finding a Job/Internship The school's career center Web site provides all the resources necessary for finding a job on and off campus. The Web site has different, user-friendly search engines tailored to where one wants to find a job. It also has links to different internship sources, along with a search engine that allows one to find potential internships based on filters. This site (www.careerservices.ucmerced.edu) is truly the one-stop source students rely on. Students can also visit the career center in person, to get help with getting their paychecks and paperwork settled. Additionally, students can set appointments with career counselors to explore different options–both for jobs while in school and for future career choices.
