Facts

Clubs and Organizations on Campus

There are more than 140 clubs and organizations on campus, varying from hobby clubs to academic clubs. There are also cultural, political, music, and sports clubs. The most active clubs on campus are cultural clubs (particularly Asian cultural clubs) and academic-focused clubs (i.e. pre-med, pre-law, etc.). Students get very involved in organizations here since it keeps them busy. It is easy to start a new club because of the fact UCM is a new and growing campus. One who wishes to start a club has to get a few others to join him, but OSL (Office of Student Life) tends to be willing and encouraging of new clubs. As a result, starting or joining new clubs serves as a great way to gain leadership positions.
