Fraternities are not allowed on campus, and drugs and alcohol are less of a problem here than they are on other campuses.

Grad student here. Don't do drugs, but I know of people who complain of others doing weed in the dorms/university housing.

Many of the students are here to study so the drug/alcohol scene is pretty light. Don't get me wrong, if you look for it, you will find it.

During more of the music events it is more evident that students are under the influence. Smoking herb and drinking are popular.

Not Much Activity – There is not much of a drug scene at UCSD. Majority of students smoke though.
