College Prowler Take
The facilities on campus are excellent. There are lots of newer buildings, including a huge gym, RIMAC, and the Price Center. There are so many facilities on campus that UCSD is like a mini-town where you can find anything you need on campus. Students enjoy hanging out at the Price Center, Library Walk, and the Old Student Center. The Giesel Library, named after Dr. Seuss, a former resident of La Jolla, is well known and has even been used in a few movies because of its interesting architecture. UCSD students are happy with the facilities on campus and enjoy using them. A common problem with the facilities on campus is the crowding. The Price Center was expanded, and plans to renovate other facilities on campus in the next few years are underway. However, UCSD is growing quickly, and the campus is starting to become overcrowded. However, campus is still beautiful and scenic, and with all the construction going on, there are new facilities being built each year.

The facilities are pretty nice. If you like going to the gym, RIMAC is awesome. I’ve never worked out before, but RIMAC is really motivating for me. I’ve put on 15 pounds of muscle thanks to that place. I think, overall, we have good facilities. |

We have a really nice athletic area called RIMAC, and the San Diego Chargers practice on our field. The gym is really nice with indoor racquetball and basketball courts. The computer center is also nice. The student center, Price Center, is really pretty with a fountain running down the side, grass, and benches. It’s one of my favorite parts of campus. |
