For my major, we have to go to another building off campus to use computers with the necessary programs, so the availability is pretty good (there is also a schedule for open labs when you need to work on an assignment). The printing on campus is great; I like the new system of using the student ID and selecting documents that need to be printed. The wait time to use the printers can be a bit long during testing week and in the afternoon, but having an express printing lab right below is really helpful and convenient as well. The wireless network is above average but it can get slow during midterms and finals week. I highly recommend having a laptop at the very least (I don't think a printer is necessary) since computers on campus are easily taken up.

I would say that the public transportation at UCF is rather good. For people who do not have cars and need to go to buy items, there is a bus, free of charge for students, that can take them to store plazas on weekend nights. Though I personally have stopped using the on campus buses, they are constantly driving around and there are many convenient stops located around campus.

Although the houses on sorority/fraternity row may be great, greek life is not the central focus at our school people do not treat you any different instead the school mostly focuses on academics and community involvement.

Very good options, just be careful what roommates you get and make sure to lock doors and keep yourself safe. Don't go out at night or leave things unattended.

There are lots of opportunities and options, but there is very little help in finding/applying/ or getting into them.

I love the psychology department at UCF. The faculty and staff are always willing to help. Also, the selection of classes that are provided is incredible and I've learned so many interesting things.

There are a few good places to eat on campus but the main dining hall near the dorms leaves much to be desired.

It was really easy to get into the History department, no problems there. The application process was simple and to the point with no way to confuse you.

There are a lot of computers and computer labs so that is a plus, but network reliability brings it back down. You can definitely get wifi anywhere but the Starbucks down the street sometimes gets better speeds. If you try to connect it takes forever and then it is very slow. When you are in the computer labs it is much faster so if you need to print something out real quick or finish up a paper this is a much better place to go, and most of the times they are empty.

Expensive is the only way to explain the restaurants nearby. It is almost worth it to drive the extra twenty minutes to go to the same restaurant in order to buy the same hamburger for almost two dollars cheaper.

There are a lot of apartments, but most are over priced even if they are including utilities. It is way cheaper to find a house in the area and split it with a few friends than to tie yourself to a small bedroom that you have to share it with. The pools, gyms, and other areas of these apartments make them ideal for some students, as long as you or your parents have the money for it.

We aren't especially known for our sports teams like other universities, but they aren't bad. Just average.

Plenty of computer access and free printing in the student union. However, during peak hours, things get a bit crowded.

Guys & Girls:
Average I guess? I don't really pay attention much myself.

If you live on the Rosen campus at the apartments, there is plenty of parking in the evening. During the high yield class times 9am-2pm, parking is hard to find because it is shared with the entire population of students.

Health & Safety:
The Rosen campus is super safe. The area is near the resort area and there is a large police presence on International drive. There is patrol car on campus all night!

My major is Event Management at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management. The classes are slightly repetitious and un-challenging for me but every once and a while you stumble upon a teacher that really illuminates the industry for you. The school gets a B- simply for the opportunities it's centralized location provides, the few focused classes and the many opportunities to network with industry professionals as well as it's every term career fair.

Every time I try to park it has been a nightmare. There are not enough spaces for the amount of students at UCF. Be sure to arrive early so you can circle for a spot!

There are lots of dining options on the main road that leads into the campus. Almost anything you could want is right there!

Guys & Girls:
From what I've seen there are many good looking guys at UCF, and girls as well. Quite a good mix!

I just recently switched to an English major with no problems at all, I was immediately called and set up an appointment with an advisor. They were prompt and to the point and gave me a full layout of what I need to gradute.

I have my own vehicle, but the campus is hard to get used to if you do not live on campus. I live about 15 miles away from campus and it is a hassle getting to and from school.

I was recently accepted to UCF, and the registration/admission process was very smooth. The orientation was very well organized and informative, and I was able to make my schedule that day. The advisors were a great help and answered all the questions I had. My first online class began last week, and so far the online course is very easy to navigate and understand.

Most Greeks stick with their own like most campuses and express how necessary greek life is to your future career opportunities

There are so many options for off-campus dining that are easily accessible to UCF students. There are many sports bars, like Applebee`s, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Moat Sports Grille. Also, University Blvd, which is located right across from UCF, has hundreds of restaurants including dine-in, delivery, and take-out options.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
