Lets be honest: This is Florida. The most unpredictable weather in probably the nation. One day it could be hell on earth and you're sweating out what you ate for breakfast, the next it could be 50 degrees and raining. The unpredictable nature of Florida is a tad annoying, but what can you do? its Florida.

Personally, I have never used the computers found in the library as well as anywhere on campus since I have my own Apple Laptop and Printer. I recommend this investment to any future college student, you'll be glad you did.

Knightros and Marketplace are the most convenient places to eat on campus, especially with a flexible meal plan. The food is so varied that it fits every individuals personal health needs, even needs to experience enjoyment in what you're eating. I definitely recommend buying an unlimited meal plan for dining halls, it saves money from being spent daily on meals and the plan pays for itself from how much you're actually going to be at knightros or Marketplace. If dining hall is not your style, UCF has so many other restaurants on campus located in the Student Union or by The Plaza ranging from Chic Fil A, Smoothie King, Qdoba, Burger King, Asian Chao, Kyoto (My favorite), Domino's (24/7) and Subway

I love all of the classes at UCF. The prerequisite courses as well as the core courses are great! I couldn't have been happier with my classes.

The computers at UCF are awesome. They are up to date and have great network reliability and speed. They wireless access is secure and easy to connect. They have guests connections for people who are not students as well.

Orlando area is a great place to find off-campus living for the Univerisity of Central Florida (UCF). With UCF being a school with so many students, it would be impossible to house all of its students on campus. Apartments around campus make it convenient for students to live off campus. There are student living apartment communitites 100 feet from campus. Students can walk! Also, almost all of these apartment complexes have shuttles that take the students to and from campus on buses that run on 15 minute increments or less. The costs aren't bad either because the apartments include everything.

Health & Safety:
When I did live on campus at the University of Central Florida for my freshman year I never felt unsafe. I would walk around campus with my friends all hours of the day/night. The only thing that made me nervous was that anyone can be on campus on any time. There are many ways to stay safe on campus though with all of the emergency areas and security.

EMAIL! Every time I have emailed them, they respond back in 24 hours. Even my Mom agrees. Calling is hard to get through because they are so busy. Also, if you go into their office they are organized and get you in and out. The financial aid process is actually very easy if you follow the steps on their finaid.ucf.edu.

UCF has great sports. The athletes here are all about giving back to the community as well. UCF has amazing school spirit and every single event is loaded with black and gold. The facilities are really nice. I suggest as a student who wants to come, to check out every single athletic event before coming. You will see for yourself!

I am a Legal Studies Major at UCF. The professors are very welcoming and work with you. Of course, if you are trying to be a lawyer, there are no excuses for late assignments and coming to class late. Although, if there is an emergency, they are flexible. The workload isn't overwhelming if you stay organized. There are internship opportunities your senior year to do that will take place of three courses if certain GPA.

Parking no matter what campus isn't GREAT! You have to realize that like in most situations getting there usually is beneficial which usually leads to a decent parking spot. Decals are required, and if they are not used, there is a $30 parking ticket. If you live on campus, I suggest walking. If you live off campus, utilize the shuttles. If not, driving a car is fine, but like I said, just be there about 30 minutes before class to ensure parking and walking time.

If you live on campus theres a dining hall called Marketplace and there you will find normal cafeteria food and its really good food. In the student union is where you'll find all your fast food resteraunts such as Burger King, Subway, Asian Chao and many more. There is a couple of healthy spots too such as the salad bar and a couple of other places.

If you don't have any holds on your account the financial aid process will go smoothly. So don't have holds and you won't have any problems

Greek life is pretty average and you don't have to join one to be "cool." The different greeks at the school are all kinds of diverse. Of course they party alot but greeks do have a higher than normal gpa than students who aren't greek

The academics here is challenging sometimes but its really good. There are alot of good professors and the registration process isn't too complicated just as long as you don't have a hold on your account. The workload for the most part consist of 4 exams and maybe a few extra work so nothing serious

There are tons of places to live Off-Campus in Orlando. Prices generally range from $450 - $750 depending on where you want to live. The average is probably $550 (per person) for a 4/4 apartment. Almost all apartments in the area offer per person leases with electric/utility caps. Those leases include cable, internet, and tons of amenities.

I am currently double majoring in Business Management (Entrepreneurship track) and Finance. I am very happy with the business classes I have taken so far. There are a lot of resources for students who want to pursue their passion outside of the classroom. My favorite is the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Any student (of any major) can head into the center with a business idea and get consulting/guidance on how to turn their idea into a real business. They even offer various workshops with guest speakers. The best part is, CEI is completely free. I intend to start my own business within the next few years and CEI has been extremely helpful with putting me on the right track.

Guys & Girls:
Generally everyone here is nice. Some can get cliquey with their groups but it's never hard to make friends. With two gyms on campus and countless intramural sports/outdoor activities on campus; there are tons of ways to meet new people and the majority of students seem to be pretty fit. As with any school, there are both introverted and extroverted people, but the majority of students here seem to be friendly and outgoing.

With so many people on this campus (we are the 2nd largest school in the nation) you are bound to meet someone of any background.

The athletics at the University of Central Florida are outstanding. For the varsity sports there is always a good turn out in the crowd with a mix between fans and students. Also, the varsity sports have been improving greatly over the years. The athletic facilities are amazing at UCF. The gym is enormous and has plenty of courts/areas for all types of recreational athletic play. In addition, a new gym has just recently been constructed and opened to the student body.

At the University of Central Floria, the academics never fall short of an A quality grade. There is a huge variety of curriculum programs available and the registration process couldn't be any simpler; it is all done online and if your class is full you are put into a waiting line that automatically enrolls you in the course if an opening is available. In regards to the professors, they are unbelievable. Nearly all of them try to make the lectures inviting and enjoyable so you don't have a terrible time even on the worst of days.

Guys & Girls:
There are many different types of people that attend UCF. Many of the girls are good-looking and are involved in some way, shape, or form. a good amount of guys and girls are involved in UCF's Greek Life on campus in which many events take place constantly which also help the community philanthropically.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
