The classes are fine, however try to learn something about your professors before blindly enrolling in their classes because there are many that are "difficult to understand." It's also very important to enroll in classes early because many classes will fill up after the first week of enrollment so you can potentially end up with a very stressful schedule.

I'm majoring in Health Sciences/Preclinical and it's not too bad. the workload can be a bit much at times, but as long as you manage your time wisely and party mostly on the weekends you should be fine. Most of the classes are right next to one another as well, making the trip from class to class manageable too.
College Sophomore 2013-01-16T04:42:42Z
There are plenty of people from almost every racial, ethnic, religious, and political background all around campus.

Campus dining is very convenient. Marketplace is open until midnight which is good for late night snacking but the quality of food is not worth the price you pay.

Depending on the parking decal you get it can be very difficult to park. Parking for students living in Libra buildings is very hard to come by. Must be willing to get to school early to look for parking.

There are many options but not too many cheap ones.

Health & Safety:
I always feel safe on UCF's campus. It's the second largest University in America enrollment wise but there is never really any danger or fights.
College Sophomore 2013-01-16T03:59:10Z
UCF is surrounded by great and healthy resteraunts. As a college student it's always good to tell your parents that, yes you are in fact eating your vegitables and fruits and not just living off of ramen.

Health Services Administration major at UCF requires you to have had or have an internship upon graduation. It will most likely be unpaid, but they do set you up with big time companies or hospitals.

Guys & Girls:
I can not go more than 25 seconds without seeing an incredibly attractive girl.

The student life is very active on campus. I live off campus but always find myself coming back in the evening and on weekends for different events. The Arena area of campus is like its own downtown district with a very unique feel to it.

The University of Central Florida has a vast array of choices for individuals and students seeking jobs and a formal education.

Race Does Not Exist – Race is not important.

The housing options at the University of Central Florida are the reason why I chose the school, with two apartment style dorms and a few communal/suite style dorms. The Orion community is a great option for those who generally like their privacy or are Upperclassmen. The community style dorms are not as bad as one might thing because they are newer than at most universities, considering this is a fairly new university.

The nightlife around the university may be adequate for the average college freshman on the weekends; however, if your taste is of a more mature nature, there's no shame in skipping these seemingly potential rights-of-passage. The 18-and-older clubs are generally packed, sweaty, and ill-cultured. The music is no good, and you'll never get out of there dry. For some people this may seem like the ideal club scene; if this doesn't sound like fun to you, stick with house parties and wait for your 21st birthday in order to go to the downtown bars.

University of Central Florida offers so many opportunities for every kind of student, from the traditional student, to transfers, to adult learners. At times you will feel a bit lost in the crowd, as it is one of the largest schools in the country, but because there are so many people here, you meet someone with different beliefs and a different background every day. The diversity here is pretty awesome. UCF is also full of international students that come from all over the world so you're bound to meet someone from another country.

There are many clubs that are 18 and up, and if you find the right group there are some amazing parties! The clubs used to be in walking distance from school but they tore those down. There is a bus that runs to downtown orlando from the school on weekends and its only 10 dollars which includes admission to some clubs. If you really want to party at UCF, you definitely can.

Health & Safety:
There are a lot of students that go here so you will hear about robberys and other situations. But the University does there best to make the students safe and I have never felt unsafe while being on campus.

The academics here are very good. Some of the classes are hard but if you want to learn you definitely will. They also have a lot of on campus resources to keep your grades up. Most of the professors are very good.

Off-capmus dining services are excellent. There are many options close to campus allowing for a larger variety. The cost of most places are average but I feel the restaurants should provide more student discounts and meal packages.

I feel safe on campus for the most part. However, the crimes that take place, usually at night, are a little scary. The school should take more actions to fix this. Overall, UCF has good security and i feel comfortable on campus.

The weather is usually pretty nice but in Florida it rains a lot. The rain makes me sleepy and lazy to the point where I don't want to do any work or go to class.

People are very concerned about fitness at UCF, so they are often working out. The Rec Center is always packed full of vibrant young college guy sand girls looking to maintain their figure and look their best.
