It becomes a real bummer when one second it's sunny and beautiful to have it turn into a pouring mess minutes later. It's a bit depressing but, it is also expected when you live in Florida.

The bus every 15 minutes works perfectly if someone's running late for class. However, they stop after a certain time, and there should be a bus that at least run until 10 pm. Other than that, the buses are great for someone who has a class so far away and so little time to get there!

The computers in the library can be slightly overcrowded during finals and midterms, but that's not unusual. The Wi-Fi can be a tad wonky and I definitely recommend getting yourself a computer of your own so you won't have to walk as far to do your homework.

The off-campus dining by far has been the most diverse. About every 2 miles there's a different restaurant from a different background. Chipotle has to be the best, in my opinion. But mainly there's a lot of places to choose from and most of them are well-known and not that expensive.

There are many apartments to choose from near UCF. The choices are endless and the costs are fairly reasonable depending on the housing.

Health & Safety:
I feel very safe at UCF, mostly because I have never personally been threatened. However, I take a lot of extra precautions to keep myself safe.
College Sophomore 2012-12-26T22:59:10Z
There is roughly one parking spot for every 8 people at UCF, which is not a good statistic. It's very hard to find a satisfying parking spot.
College Sophomore 2012-12-26T20:22:13Z
Despite the fact that UCF is located on the outskirts of the city of Orlando, that does place it in a great spot for many activities. The theme parks and downtown are a great place to visit and interact with fellow students as well as tourists. UCF is also close to Valencia Community College and Full Sail; allowing students the opportunity to meet people that do not go to their school.

Spirit Splash, and our campus has the style of a traditional old campus, but also new and modern features of brand new ones

Parking is decent. It only gets difficult on school nights just because most people don't go anywhere. But you'll usually be able to find a spot in one of the parking garages if you can't find one in a parking lot. You also have to be careful about parking in the garages when there is a football game but the university gives you notice about it.

The shuttle buses are very nice. They stop at all the affiliated housing and drop you off near to student union and by the arena as well. They run about every 20 minutes.

Drugs are not very visible at the University of Central Florida. It depends on who you hang out with and hom much you let them influence your actions. Smoking is not very common anymore since the campus has gone smoke free. If anything, drinking alcohol is the most popular. However you do not have to drink or do drugs to enjoy college and have a good time.

Health & Safety:
I feel pretty safe on UCF's campus. The school makes sure to keep the students safe and take the safety of the students very seriously.

It's a very big school, and there are a ton of majors. I'm going into Forensic Science which offered there along with just about anything else.

Health & Safety:
It is a very big school, the second biggest in the US I believe, but there is a on campus police force that's there 24/7 watching out for your safety.

If you like being able to wear short sleeved shirts almost 365 days a year, then Florida is the place to be. Weather is usually really nice here, but Florida being so close the ocean you have to worry about Hurricane season.
College Junior 2012-12-24T05:33:51Z
The prices are a little high, especially for a no-income college student like myself. But they are really nice places and some of them are fully furnished as well.

Guys & Girls:
The guys are all hot but rude. All they want is sex and to party.

There are a lot of different cultures and skin colors at UCF. I love it.

Buses shuttling students from apartment complexes to campus Mon- Fri and Saturdays for Football games, Parking is reasonably priced but tricky to find a spot on some parts of campus depending on the time and day. There is a system that brings students anywhere on campus on the weekends and late at night if they dont want to walk.

there are a few fun night clubs near UCF but they also just took down the legendary ones. Downtown is a lot of fun too and its only a 20 minute drive

Parking is difficult to find at UCF. Cars are ticketed if you do not park with a decal. You must leave at least a half hour early before your class starts if you want to make it on time.

The dorm that I'm in is pretty old but very roomy. It quickly became the place to hang out amongst my friends because of that. The shower is pretty crappy to be honest and the air conditioning has broken on us twice in on semester. Other that that, the place is central to everything important like my classes, dumpster, laundry room, and cafeteria. I like it a lot. Other buildings are the opposite, like Hercules dorms feel very cramped but are fairly new and have great bathrooms. Really depends on where you stay though. As for my RA, he's very cool. He doesn't usually bother us unless it's vital and hasn't really busted anybody's balls over anything on my floor and I swear the kids on my floor are basically creatures of the night because i constantly hear them up at around four and nobody usually cares.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
