Do not drive to school as yet, but heard from others on this.

The computer labs at school are usually very crowded, but the perks of the SGA labs is that you get free printing, which can be done there or wirelessly.

I am not part of Greek life, but I know many people who are and they all love it. They all tell me that its a great way to make friends and get involved around school.

Parking on campus is really hectic. To be able to get a good spot, you have to get here about half an hour before your class.

The dorms are all very nice, and they are conveniently set around campus. I'm very glad I chose to live on campus, because I am able to get to class on time, as well as being able to enjoy what the campus has to offer. Living in Lake Claire suits me great, as I have my own room and the apartment itself is equipped with a full sized kitchen. I would not have picked any other.

Living on campus is amazing! You're never too far from an event. You can just walk out your door and in be there. I especially loved it because if i had an hour before my next class, I could go to my dorm, take a nap, eat lunch or whatever! We didn't have a kitchen so that was kind of rough, but microwave meals will become your best friend! It was a fair cost - i was also in the oldest dorms at my school and they were still nice! We had a maid come once a week to clean the bathroom and the sinks/counters in our room. There were also many events for the community we lived in.

It rains a LOT in Orlando and it's very difficult to find a path to take to not get wet.

UCF has great facilities everywhere. Everything is kept clean and organized and the school really cares about the integrity of the campus.

I haven't had any issues so far with campus police or anyone that has authority. Everyone seems to act professional and the police seem to respect the fact that we are college students.

School computers and computer labs are usually crowded especially during the day or around exam week. At night, it's a great idea to go because it is so nice. They are fast and allow you to get all your homework done if you don't have a computer or a printer.

Orlando and UCF have so much to offer its residents and students. There is a huge night life especially in downtown Orlando. There is also all the theme parks surrounding Central Florida which are a lot of fun at any age. Orlando is also roughly around an hour away from the beach which everyone enjoys visiting once in a while.

There are so many computer labs on campus, whether it be math labs, printing labs, or computers in the library.

UCF is an awesome school and an awesome campus. There are so many resources available to students to take advantage of and so many of the resources are free. The building and dorms at UCF are very nice and new, especially because the college is only 50 years old. The campus is constantly changing and expanding. It's very fun.

I've never been able to receive a scholarship so far, but I know of some people who do have scholarships.

I'm not involved in Greek life, but I guess it comes in handy at UCF because it's such a large school. However, it's such a large school, it's hard not to find friends.

You must always have an umbrella when walking around campus, because Florida is so unpredictable when it comes to rain. The campus is large, and there are very few covered walk ways, so in your best interest, have an umbrella at all times.

The programs here are not very rigorous, but if someone comes here and wants to go above and beyond in their learning, opportunities are most definitely available.

Drinking is the most popular activity around campus, but the use of marijuana is prevalent depending on the crowd you hand around.

Everything here at UCF is beautiful. The campus is based on a a few circles. The center is the Student Union where there you can find restaurants, ballrooms, free printing, offices, etc. Student Government really rallies for students wants and needs. We get free scantrons, blue books, and printing thanks to them. Everyone is so friendly. There are a lot of kids here so it might be intimidating, but in time you'll find your niche. Every weekday there is something going on. There are tons of clubs and extracurriculars and being in Orlando the night life is pretty live. Our welcome week is called Pegasus Palooza where there are free activities and seminars that appeal to different people. Homecoming week is also a huge deal. Most of the kids hang out at either Fu bar or Library (Knights Library.) Everything is so close to campus, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, bowling, lazer tag. It's hard to get bored around here.

Guys & Girls:
There is a large range of guys at this school. Artsy guys, geeky, athletic, cultured. No matter from where most are sweethearts. I've met a bunch of guys from all over the country and a few from outside of the US. The girls are also from around the globe. There's your south Florida/ locals crowd who are swagged out, the cute and quiet girls, and of course the party animals.

Too many people, not ever enough parking spaces. And paying for a parking pass makes you question whether you should drop out of school.

With 60,000+ students, UCF has people from every background imaginable. If you just browse the Student Organization Database on the Campus Involvement section of the website, there are over 140 clubs and organizations students can join that include cultural, LGBTQ and political groups. I can't even think of a cultural group that I haven't seen represented at UCF.

The financial aid process has generally easy except for my first semester. My first semester, they withheld my financial aid until I gave them a document from high school which was a little inconvenient because it took some time to obtain it. Other than that, it is convenient and gets directly deposited into my account each semester.

I gave UCF a B+ because I have never lived on campus housing but I have only heard good things about living on campus so I assume we offer decent options.

Health & Safety:
There has been crime on UCF campus in the past which is on my mind at times while on campus, especially at night. However, there are ways to feel and actually be more secure. UCF offers a number you can call in which a police will escort you to your car if you want them to. This is great! Also in many of the stairwells in the parking garages there are emergency buttons you can push in case of an emergency. So although there has been reported crime in the past I feel pretty secure while on UCF campus
Sorry, there are no reviews.
