Apartments Vary – It seems that some complexes are more expensive when trying to get an apartment close to the school. A few that rent rooms and include utilities are a great price but lack the privacy.

Very Satisfied Freshman – The dorms are all fantastic. As a freshman you can live almost anywhere on campus with the exception of a few places, such as the Towers. For the Fall, I'm living in Lake Claire which is a beautiful community with apartment style dorms. For the Summer I was assigned to live in Hercules which is fairly new, very clean with cleaning service coming every Monday to clean the bathroom and clean the floors and vanities. You do have to live with roommates/suitemates there but nowhere on campus is there more than 2 people to a room. All living communities have their pros and cons, but they're all a beautiful place to live.

Greatest Place Ever. Everyone is going to say that their school is the best but I honestly deep in my heart believe it is. The minute I stepped onto campus I absolutely adored the place. If you want to party you can party, if you want to take academics seriously you can do that too. Also the diverse population is really what drew me in. Everyone and anyone is accepted here no matter what color, size, shape or anything else.

I would haveto give Ucf an A on this one. You get to print a lot more papers then you will need for free. I would say you need a personal computer if you are one of those people (Like me) who are always surfing the web just browsing for information and socializing!

Great (For Me) – If you're anything like me you can eat fast food every single day. Ucf has an Asian Chao, I'm not sure how popular that is around other parts of Florida but when I'm from it's huge. Ucf alo has a Chick' Fil a which is just icing on the cake. There are plenty of pizza places that deliver late at night. Overall in my opinio Ucf gets an A+!

Awesome Place to Live and Study – Clean campus, opportunities to thrive, plenty of clubs to join and take part in. All faculty and staff members are helpful and willing to do everything possible to give off a comfortable environment that will allow students to take part in campus activities. Very easy to find the information you need. When help is required, responses are prompt and to the point so all problems are solved as quickly and thoroughly as possible. Buildings are clean and up to date. Plenty of places to eat. The campus is large which can be trying, but the scenery makes the trip from your room to class worth the walk. Students are just as passionate about their school and are very friendly and courteous toward their peers.

Guys & Girls:
I can't ask for another student body than the one at UCF. You meet someone new everyday and each has their own stories, cultures, friends, philosophies and enjoyments.

Health & Safety:
So far no tragedy has befallen me on UCF campus and for the most part the UCF Police keeps the student and faculty bodies in check.

Health & Safety:
Pretty Good – I feel safe during the day and even at night sometimes. Just because its a big city and from watching all those crime shows freaks me out a little when Im walking across campus on my own at night, but its pretty secluded which makes me feel safer in a big city.
College Junior 2012-07-30T04:47:08Z
Pretty Good – People like to smoke hookah, thats not really a drug but still.

You're in Orlando! Everywhere you go to eat can be good, there are great places around UCF to eat, plus Disney and Universal.

Guys & Girls:
There are several guys at this school. You are bound to meet one in whatever it is you are interested in. You will definitely have something to look at and majority of them are super friendly!
The Wweather is beautiful. Especially by the retention pond. The background nioses and the mist of water barely hitting your face with that nice breeze is quite enjoyable.

Parking is easy if you have semi early classes. The later your classes the harder it will be to find a spot. Also, make sure you have a decal or you will get fined for not having a decal and parking in a permit spot.

Take It or Leave It – I'm not into the Greek life myself, but they seem to do pretty well here without interfering with the lives of non-Greek students. They're enthusiastic without being obnoxious... usually. Their parties have a bit of that stereotypical raging reputation, but honestly, there are quite a few as huge non-Greek parties too.
College Junior 2012-07-29T22:28:12Z
It Could Be Worse – I think drinking is a lot more common. It's not really discouraged at all around here. Drugs are definitely out there; they're accessible, they're used, but to be honest, there are just other things you can do than do drugs. I've never been bored enough that I felt like I needed to DO something to have fun at UCF.

Strict but Lenient Somewhat – Just like any other campus, they are strict but lenient

The process to obtain financial aid was very easy. You simply need to register with FAFSA and UCF will then pull that information to determine how much financial aid you qualify for. You can check the progress online, which makes the whole process even easier and accept or decline any awards there, as well!

Overall They Succeed in Helping Students – For the most part, the professors are very helpful and strive for excellence. I have experienced a couple that did not share the common goal of making sure each student knew what was expected of them to achieve excellence. These professors were both taken for online classes, so therefore I definately recommend taking classes on campus or at a regional campus.

Campus is amazing! Huge library and student union. Both are open 24 hours a day when its finals time.
College Senior 2012-07-29T17:27:33Z
There are so many different types of degrees offered at the school. There is a counselor out there that can help you with any problems that you may have. Campus is modern with lots to do, its easy to navigate. There are also a ton of perks with being a students, like free concerts, games, tickets etc.

Students in General – In general people are very friendly and helpful. There are a ton of students on campus and all there for the same goal, which helps the situation a lot.

Rec and Wellness Center – This center is state of the art and they are constantly adding new things. There is a rock climbing wall, an Olympic sized pool, basketball/volleyball courts, racquetball courts, all the equipment you would need and many services.
College Junior 2012-07-29T16:13:24Z
Early Bird Gets the Worm – Computer labs are set up all around campus and rarely being used. If you go at an earlier time computers in the library are open as well and have great network speed and can all access printers nearby. Also if you have a wireless device there is wifi set up around campus with plenty of work stations in the library top floor.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
