Easily Accessible – There are many computer labs located in different parts of the University of Central Florida. It is almost impossible not to find an available computer at the library. Wi-fi is quite difficult to access during the busy times, but it is fast.

Great Experience – The Marketing department at the College of Business fosters an extremely encouraging learning environment. Only a semester after being admitted, I was able to score an internship through the Marketing Internship department. Students who are interested in pursuing a career in sales are able to apply for the Professional Selling Program, which is as rigorous as it is rewarding. There are also many student clubs that are overlooked by the faculty. I am extremely excited to be able to take advantage of so many wonderful opportunities at my university.

Good Choices – Because I started out at the university as a junior, I never had to buy a meal plan, so I cannot provide much information regarding what UCF has to offer. However, there are plenty of places on campus to grab something to eat at. I am more than satisfied because such a large number of joints gives me many choices to pick from - whether I am looking for something on the healthier side or a place with more democratic prices.

University of Central Florida provides students with great opportunities to learn and grow through the academics that are offered. Faculty's research and publications are known to be one of the strongest in the nation, which makes the faculty extremely competent to teach. The university makes available a large number of extra curricular academic activities and programs to become involved in. For all marketing majors, the Marketing department at the College of Business offers students an opportunity to apply for the exclusive Professional Selling Program, which is rated as one of the best in the United States. College of Business also provides students with Career Center services which assist students in improving their resumes and career portfolios as well applying for jobs posted in the university's career management database.
The only drawback is the hectic class registration process, which is understandable because of UCF's large number of enrolled students.

Guys & Girls:
I thoroughly enjoy the vast diversity of students here and in the surrounding areas.

Public buses are fairly convenient around the UCF area. However, the UCF buses are the greatest and fastest way to travel. They will even take you to the Rosen college campus on the other side of town.

Health & Safety:
I've never felt unsafe on campus. I do occassionally take night classes, but there is always security patrolling the area and if anything you can always call for a safe escort to your car.
There is the occassional petty theft so make sure you don't leave any valuables in your car that are visible and lock everything up.

Business Management – The instructors are very supportive and helpful in your success not only in the class, but in your future endeavors. They provide many resources for you to take advantage and they have a career services department that helps to prepare you for job interview, job search, etc.

This is one of the largest universities in the U.S. so there is bound to be issues with parking. UCF has improved the parking situation by building more parking garages and adding more online courses so less students are on campus taking up parking spots. There is more contruction on campus so I'm sure they will be adding more. They're clearly making an effort to accomodate everyone and there are always other transporation options such as the shuttle bus, carpooling, etc.

I Love It! Everyone is eager to see you succeed and provides support. Students and faculty alike are kind and helpful. There are a lot of resources for students you just have to be willing to take advantage of the opporunities provided.

Many Options – There are several shuttle options for on and off campus and they have KnightLynx which is a late night bus service on the weekends. UCF also has what is called ZipRide for carpooling and ZipCar which is a membership based car sharing company that provides access to cars with a reservation. Finally they have a number to call and request a Safe Escort to your car.

Dining in Orlando – There are a million different places off campus to eat. A lot of places give UCF students discounts too if you show your ID. A few frozen yogurt places give 10% discounts with ID, and those make great late night treats. There are also a lot of places to go and not break the bank. Lazy moon for example, is a perfect pizza joint that serves HUGE slices of pizza for a few bucks.

Well first off, UCF has a pretty amazing campus. It is huge, which can be overwhelming at first. But its all a big circle, so you are never really too far from anything. They have a million different things there as well; a large selection of food places, a hair salon, a candy store, a bank. UCF is like it's own little city. The library has a bunch of computers available to students which always comes in handy, and most things are pretty high tech.
College Sophomore 2012-07-22T12:34:24Z
The food options at UCF are pretty awesome. There are a bunch of different places in the student union as well as around campus. We have everything from chick-fil-a and sbarro to a really cool greek place. It's also really cool that you can use KnightsCash to pay for food around campus.

The uniqueness about UCF is their Recreational and Wellness Center. It encompasses many programs, such as fitness, aquatics and intramural Sports. The RWC is open to all UCF students; The RWC offers an infinite selection of services with tennis courts, golf course, a leisure pool.

Parking in the gargages is sometimes confusing and small parking spaces. You do need to arrive 30-45 minutes before classes begin to find a space to park.
College Freshman 2012-07-22T01:58:15Z
Off Campus – I have always opted to live off campus so that I could be in between school and work while going to school.
College Freshman 2012-07-22T01:53:54Z
Variety of Dining – There are a lot of options for dining off campus that are close to campus and extended hours for students too.

After School Pleasures – Nightlife in Orlando is awesome because everyone aims for a good time in a college town. There are a few clubs located right across the street from campus and there are special buses that take students downtown as well. This transportation method allows for bulks of people to get together and have a safe, fun time without driving responsibilities. Additionally, you can be 18 and still enjoy a night in the town! Most places are 18 years and older and have super deals for cheap fun
College Junior 2012-07-21T22:17:58Z
Tasty and Timely – Campus Dining Services provide a variety of restaurants, cafe's, and buffets that are tasty and timely. There could be some more healthy options, but that is up to the student to seek!
College Junior 2012-07-21T22:13:54Z
Safe Is Secure – There are on campus police which are strict in regards to drinking and drug use. Neither of these are allowed on campus regardless of age or prescription. The school is very serious about these infractions and will punish, often, more severely than the officers. The campus is generally safe however, so police action for behavior and crime is very rare.

Practice What You Preach – When people ask me about my university, describing the diversity of the student body and faculty is one of my first enthusiastic responses. People from all over the country and world come to UCF to teach, learn, and spread their indifference. The campus is very welcoming and people are generally interested and respectful to those of all nationalities and backgrounds.
College Junior 2012-07-21T21:56:57Z
UCF is one of the most progressive universities I've seen. I have been in love with the campus environment since my first day there. From the student body and faculty to the sporting events and pep rallies, UCF exudes both tradition and change! Classes are challenging, but keep me engaged and interesting. I am very proud to be a Knight!
College Sophomore 2012-07-21T20:52:00Z
Many Available for All Types of People – There is a LOT of money out there for college students. UCF offers many different scholarships and financial aid options that helps make school affordable. Some require financial need while others are awarded based on academics. There is an entire building and website dedicated to UCF scholarships.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
