UCF is an amazing school, there is always something to do. With the never ending list of clubs and activities you are sure to find a club to belong to. Its extremely diverse and well rounded, the lifestyle is resort style living and is completely modern. I love UCF!

Engineering: Interesting – Being a engineering major I can only speak of my experiences so far. It has gone smooth and they tell you upfront all the course you need to graduate, and don't change them unless you changes your degree.

Knowledgeable and Helpful – When I had questions and concerns they answered all they could, and directed me to the rest they didn't know firsthand.

Many Places, and Growing – UCF has many places to live, and are building more.

I love all that UCF has to offer. Any thing you can think of there is a place that has what you need! Tutoring help is located at many places around campus and is great to take advantage of. The gym now has two locations and is state of the art so why not use it. There is a lot of fun recreational things to do, such as the rock climbing wall, pool, and ropes course. There are so many clubs to get involved in, Greek Life is a blast, and there are so many people at school, you're sure to click with someone!

Food Off Campus – There are so many different restaurants around campus that if you're hungry there is always some place that interests you to eat. Late nights my friends and I will hit up Steak n Shake or Taco Bell or Lazy Moon Pizza. If we prefer to sit down and eat Kyoto is our favorite but there are so many more options available!

The Parking garages are always full and it can cause you to be late to class, you can never find a spot and people in the garages drive awful!

Health & Safety:
Last semester I heard about quite a few dorm break ins.

I Am Pretty Happy – I have only have two classes over this summer semester, but as of right now I am happy with my major. Biomedical Sciences is one of few majors that will allow me to get into medical school after finishing my undergraduate degree, and there are many available career options after finishing this major.
College Sophomore 2012-07-06T18:17:03Z
Very Easy Process – The process to get into my Biomedical Science major was very simple. All I had to do was go online to my UCF account and declare what I wanted my major to be, and then I had to enroll in classes appropriate for that major. I did not have to apply to that specific major and worry about being accepted, all I had to do was declare what I wanted.

Good Labs – The computers in the math lab could be a little busy on certain days but other than that they have great computer labs.

Guys & Girls:
Lots of Hot Girls – There are lots of really hot girls who are really nice and friendly. Anywhere you go, there's an opportunity to meet new people. Especially waiting for shuttles, walking thru the student union, etc.

Headed in the Right Direction – UCF is showing great progress towards becoming one of the best academic institutions in the United States. It continues to forge partnerships with many different companies and it has stimulated the Orlando community for years. The campus looks great and there are many resources offered to students.

I Feel Safe. Regardless of the drinking that goes on during tailgatting, there really isn't a problem with drugs on campus. The people there, from my experience, don't really pressure people to be involoved in drugs like they are. UCF also has a great drug and sex education videos for all incoming students, that is really helpful.

Not on Campus but Off – Orlando is good for the nightclub scene in general. Downtown is about 30 minutes from campus and there is a bus that takes you downtown from UCF. If you go out and meet people there are always greek parties and house parties, which can be fun with the right people. On campus is dead though.

It rains on half of the campus and it's sunny on the other. When it does storm UCF has a flooding problem so wear boots. Invest in an umbrella during the summer months because it's Florida and it will storm.

The parking sucks but UCF is a huge college with a lot of people so you can't expect the best parking. The permits are ridiculously priced but if you're smart there are ways you can avoid a ticket.

Very Diverse – The campus is very diverse and there are many different clubs and organizations for students of different backgrounds and interests. UCF has a zero tolerance level for discrimination against people for any reason and does well to enforce that.

Mostly Fast Food but Some Good Healthy Options Are There – There are alot of fast food joints (chik-fil-a, burger king, sbarros, etc), but there are a few healthy and ethnic choices. My only issue is that the only places that are open past 5pm is burger king and subway. And Subway gets old fast.

I Wish I Would've Realized My Goal Sooner – I used more credit hours than I was supposed to because I changed majors, and the major I started with is completely different than my current path. I enjoyed the classes I've taken though, and I feel it makes me more rounded.

Transfering Can Be a Little Troublesome – I transferred from a private institution, and some of the classes didn't line up. However, when I tried to transfer here I wasn't told about this and so it took 6 months to find out why my application wasn't being accepted.

School Spirit! We've been making our name here in recent years, and that's because we've gained some amazing talent. Our school spirit is almost unmatched!

Opportunities for Internships – I haven't had an internship yet, however, they offer medical internships in the fall and spring semesters. These are positions that may otherwise be hard to attain, but the advisors in the pre-professional office work hard to provide these kind of opportunities. Also, you get college credit for them. I plan to intern this year.

Psychology Is an Excellent Major – I'm a psychology major, and I'm also on the pre-medical track. My major is different than other science majors, and so it makes me appear more well-rounded to a prospective medical school. The classes here for psychology are wonderful, engaging, and since the class sizes are smaller, its much easier to get to know your preofessors.

Love My Major – My major is Hospitality Management and I love it. There are many businesses that come to our school to recruit us and give us experience in the workforce before we even graduate.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
