Good Enough – There are plenty of parking garages surrounding the center of the school. You'd have to get there early if you don't want to spend too much time looking for a space, but you'll always find something.

You're Never Bored – In Orlando, there's never NOTHING to do. You have one of the most lively cities in the United States in your backyard. You have the theme parks less than 30 minutes away. You have a lot of clubs and bars, along with the Orlando Magic if you're into basketball. Overall, if you're bored at any time all you have to do is look around and you'll find something to do almost immediately.

The drug use at UCF is fairly prevalent. At almost every party, there's at least a few people smoking or doing some other type of drug. Granted that there is a lot more students who drink, but there are also a decent amount of students who use drugs.

I love how teachers and staff members all want to help you succeed and they truly make an effort ti show it.

Is it very difficult to find scholarships that fit my criteria.

The employees are extremely welcoming and nice and the food is wonderful.

At UCF, I absolutely hate everything that has to do with parking. In parking lot C especially, I have spent 20-35 minutes looking for a parking spot (15 min. avg.), got yelled at by a guy because he thought I stole his spot then he threatened to scratch my car... It was ridiculous I'm a female and I do not even act like that over a parking spot. Also, I just so happend to receive not 1 but 2 parking tickets in the same day!! It was about a week or two after the semester had started (the day after my birthday) and I realized that I had gotten a parking citation in the morning. I lived an hour away from school and found things to do in between classes. Later on in the afternoon after I went to my third class I went to my car and there was a second parking ticket ON TOP of the first one that I had re-placed under the wiper so they would have seen that I had already been cited. I was very angry and ended up appealing one of the citations. Once I parked my car for 12 minutes without paying a meter and received another $25 parking citation. Parking here is horrible at UCF and they raise the prices of the parking passes all the time which you have to purchase every term.

Very Diverse – In my opinion, UCF is very diverse when it comes to ethnicities. I go to UVF Mon.-Fri. and I honestly cannot say that I see more white, black, or spanish people then others. Everyday I see about the same diverse number of different people from all races and ethnicities including Asian, European, African, South American, etc.

I Love It – Everything is so conveinently located near UCF. I live about an hour away from UCF but wished I could just live closer and not waste money on gas or tolls. There's lots of things to do right outside of the campus and also in Orlando. The campus is really nice and there always seems to be something going on somewhere around campus. The professors that I've had push you, yet still try to work with you if for some reason you mess up.
College Sophomore 2012-06-21T15:37:26Z
Parking on campus is not bad, but usually is very filled up. There are many places to park so as long as you can park then you should be able to get anywhere on campus easily.

College of Business Testing Lab Can Be Stressful – Overall the Business testing lab is pretty good about crowd control through the use of COBA passes taht students can sign up for 48 hours prior to taking an exam. These COBA passes allow students to make appointments to take exams which really helps regulate traffic. The only reason I didn't give the Business testing lab a better grade is because during one of my finals all of the servers crashed and I had to wait in line for over three hours to take my exam.

Very Manageable – As a current Business Finance major I find the workload to be very manageable. Every teacher that I have had so far has been extremely fair and makes getting good grades achievable. The only thing I find to be slightly unfair is the "plus-minus" grading scale used is some classes. I don't appreciate there being and "A-" but no "A+". It is not always fair to "A" students who work hard to achieve the best possible grades.

Needs Improvement – Although the University of Central Florida has recently added new parking garages, there is still a shortage of parking spaces for students. I find it exhausting to circle a parking lot for a minimum of twenty minutes in order to find a spot. This is not only frustrating for incoming freshmen but also irritating for upperclassman men.
College Junior 2012-06-21T00:36:00Z
Maybe, Maybe Not. There are equal amounts of students who are either into drugs, or totally against them. Being the second largest university, you're bound to find tons of both kinds of people.

Growing Teams and Possibiliteis – The gym is awesome! It's recent renovations have proved this school is growing constantly. The waits for the exercise machines aren't as long anymore and the gym doesn't seem as crowded as it used to seem. The athletic teams are growing rapidly and getting better every year. The intramural teams are easy to find and have a wide selection of sports to choose from.

Cheapish but Not Healthy – There are very few healthy food options, which actually makes cooking at home a much easier decision except when you're in a rush or are just feeling lazy. Food isn't so bad but it would be better to have more of a variety of different types of foods

UCF is the best! I have never been disappointed with the learning process, the professors, or the curriculum. Professors are always willing to answer questions, even outside of class, and there are so many ways to seek help if you are struggling. They won't let you fail!

I have only been at UCF for a semester and so far it has been an amazing experience. I am originally from South Florida and had a pretty amazing job at the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach. I decided to leave the job to pursue my education in Hospitality management. UCF is in Orlando and is known for their tourism and hotels. I am in school full time while working at the Peabody hotel. UCF helped me find this amazing job opportunity. I cam here without knowing a single person, but UCF provided me with enless possibilities of meeting people through events, clubs and organizations.

Possibly the Best I've Ever Attended – The off-campus dining is great! There is sooo much to choose from. Basically, that entire area of Orlando was built around the university. It meets the needs of the students not just for dining but also for healthy entertaining. This is why I LOVE main Campus!

It's Good, but the Options Are Not as Broad. The dinning is good, and the food is great. But the options for many of my friends who are vegans and vegetarians are not as broad, except for salad. But a person can only live on salad for so long.

They are not HORRIBLE... however, they are not available for students like myself who attended another university and transferred back once the program I was attending for opened up in my town. Basically, at this point I have run through my fasfa options. The school does not really try to help you find more Aid if you need it. They basically leave it all in your hands. Which I find could be difficult because a lot of Scholarship websites are filled with Spam and junk mail instead of helpful things.

I am not going to lie. It is very difficult to know where all the routes are heading. Specially if you do not know your way around. However, once you get the hang of it buses are traveling all day round around the school and you do not really become late for ANY class.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
