Health & Safety:
Campus Personal Safety – the campus is equipped with the latest technology, there is cameras in every building, every entrance, and parking garages . That might give you a sense of security but when it comes to police or visible security there is a lack of personnel, when walking in dark areas or to parking garages it is not as safe as one should feel in school.there is that impression that you are alone and anything can happen.

Health & Safety:
It's a Pleasant Campus – UCF has to be the safest and cleanest campus I've ever seen. The landscape is kept neat and tidy. There is hardly any crime in the area or campus. I've actually walked on campus at 3 a.m. and have never felt scared or anything. Campus security is very efficient, and they're there 24/7.

You Don't Need a Car – I know plenty of students who don't have a car at UCF, but still manage to get around places. My freshman year, I lived not far from campus and the complex offered a very efficient bus system for students living there. It's free, and the most you have to wait is 10 minutes for the next bus.

The apartments surrounding the UCF campus can range from affordable to pricey depending on your budget. The area is very safe, and all the apartments I have been to are pretty nice. Many of the complexes offer free bus rides to campus. Like I said, there is an apartment or home that will fit your lifestyle.

There is no possible way you can work during Internship 2 with being an Elementary Ed major. You are going Monday- Friday from 8-4.

Don't Live There – I don't live on campus so I have no clue how the food is there!

Elementary Education – There is a lot of busy work that goes into being an Elementary Education major. However, the teachers here are really passionate about what they do!

Unreasonable Price! We have to pay to park. I think this is terrible considering the price we pay for tuition already. If you don't have a decal, you get a parking ticket!

Cocoa Campus – I go to UCF at the Cocoa Campus. You have your basic foods such as Sonic, Taco Bell, Little Ceasers, etc. Nothing extraordinary, but nothing totally disgusting!

Practice What You Preach? I am in the Elementary Education program at UCF. We are told how informal assessments are key to building a great classroom. However, we are given formal assessments. I feel like the teachers should be using their classrooms as a model for our own someday. Also, I feel there needs to be more of a variety of teachers in the satellite campuses. I would like to see more teaching styles!

There are on campus buses going through campus and there is buses going on and off campus to housing communities that are close buy. Having a car is really the best bet because even thought there is not a lot of parking it gives you the freedom.

Its Diverse – There are many diversities at school and many people are very welcoming. We even have a exchange student program

Buses and Taxis Are Very Useful. The school has its own line buses that run every 15 minutes from sunrise to sunset all over campus and to local apartments where students live. This makes taking the bus always practical and reliable. We also get a free taxi ride every 60 days that we are able to use at any hour, night or day.

I Dont Regret Engineering and Am Excited for My Future. I am very happy with my decision of going into the engineering program at UCF. The professors' doors are always open and very resourceful. Special classes are modified to incorporate engineering aspects into them and show of real life engineering practices. We are always being given internship and research program opportunities. I plan on getting into a research program that will lead to an intership and use that experience to land a great job.

Fantastic Courses and Professors – I am very happy with my engineering program at UCF. I am put in classes like calculus and chemistry with all other engineering majors, and have special engineering based calculus connection classes. The engineering classes incorporate all types of engineering fields that gives students a very broad spectrum. We are always being presented with projects, interships, and research programs almost on a weekly basis.

Very Easy – The process of getting into my Civil Engineering major was very easy. When I applied to the school I just stated which major I wanted and at the time applied for an undecided engineering major, and when i was accepted to the school I was accepted into that major. Later during my first year I decided to change my major to Civil Engineering and that was as simple as clicking a new box on my UCF account that i wanted to change my major.

It's central Florida, the entertainment capital of the country. Of course we have a good atmosphere. You won't run out of things to do here, but we do have our fair share of crime. Nothing to be paranoid about, though

No Problems – Considering that this is Central Florida, which is bustling and full of tourist, we have plenty of good dining options here. Food should not be a concern, especially since there are a variety of restaurants on UCF's campus.

Going to UCF is great because you are so close to theme parks and clubs. The nightlife is great.

With so many students going to UCF, parking is hard to find.

UCF is a great college with something to do everyday.

Easy but Expensive. There are lots of different places to live but they are very expensive. Getting a roommate is a must but it is still expensive with one.

Near Lake Eola – There are dozens of independent restaurants circling the lake, ranging from vegan cafes to wine-tasting shops. Most of the restaurants use local produce and are still able to sell food at a price reasonable for the impoverished college student.

Where's the Bus? There are shuttle buses that leave from different apartment complexes about every 15 minuets. But sometimes the buses are full so you have to wait till the next bus arrives and it doesnt always arrive on time.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
