Very Diverse! UCF is diverse. There is an ample amount of students from every walk of life. UCF doesn't see color or gender.

Beautiful Atmosphere, but Too Many Students. The school is gorgeous, but there are too many students per class. Parking is horrible, but the UCF environment is pleasant and enjoyable.

Very Strict – Try to follow the rules because campus srictness is a priority at the school. The University creed is always reviewed before a class begins and is teken very seriously.

It Can Get Vry Hot – It is Florida so it is almost always hot. Yet the school allows many study areas and cool relaxing areas around campus. The weather can almost always change from sunny to light showers. Yet, the weather doesn't affect my schedual too much. Just check the local weather every morning and at noon.

Very Safe – The school provides mulpitule services to ensure student safety. They have programs that escort students to dorms at night . Ect

High Cost Very Strict – The cost for parking stickers is very high. The school does a very good job in watching the garags and finning studnts with expired stickers. My only criticism is that the school needs to lowers their parking sticker prices.

Skateboarding and Biking Makes It Easier – The campus is extremely large, and getting from point A to point B can be very difficult. There are buses, that can help the people that have time to wait around for the buses to come and drop them off, but the easiest ad fastest mode of transportation is easily skateboarding or bilking. They can be parked outside of buildings or brought in, and it makes it so you move twice the speed of walking.

Great but Not the Best – I like the selections that they had for me to chose from. When i looked into them, there were more than plenty classes for me to chose from for my major. The only downside is even though there are a lot of classes, the times are a bit harsh, and there are not many choices for the times.

I Loved the Environment – The University of Central Floridas campus has one of the created atmospheres I have seen on a campus in my life. Its big, so its like a small town, but not to big, so you should be able to get to know a lot of people. There are as well plenty of social things to do, a lot of restaurants, and a high volume of space for studying, in multiple locations throughout.

Excellent Eating – There are so many places to eat around the campus. There costs are average, and there are student discounts if you know where to look.

They Had What I Needed – When going into orientation, they taught me the classes i need to complete to hold my Biomedical Sciences Degree. They had a wide variety of classes for this degree I was looking into, and I can see this diversity in subject matter to really accelerate my learning in the future.

Not Bad at All – The off campus housing is very nice, having many accommodations for a multitude of people. It is, however, in my perspective, a bit to far away from the actual campus. Since the University of Central Floridas campus is so large, it takes a while to go from the off campus housing to the actual inner parts of the school.

Pegasus Landing – Pegasus Landing was cheap and convenient, though it have it's downfalls. For a freshman coming in, it will provide a cheap place that will find roommates for you. My last year at this complex, it had a mold issue; they have since remodeled.

Every single year I seemed to have to make a phone call to the Financial Aid Office or would have to go to the physical office to fix a problem that occurred with my aid.

EDU Internship 1 – This internship is typically two days a week for majority of the semester. Depending on your mentoring teacher, depends on the commitment and responsibilities of this internship. The internship has a list of things for you to do during your internship; everyone teaches at least two lessons and has to go observe 10 other classrooms.

Social Sciences Education – I enjoyed my major because of the collaboration I was allowed to have with people that were passionate about the same thing. By having a discussion about one aspect with multiple types of personalities, it allowed me to become a better educator once I graduated.

Going the Extra Mile – I am in the nursing program, and this program requires you to give your all. There are no short cuts in this program. It is helpful to have instructors that are knowledgeable and willing to help. The instructors that I've had up to now have been willing to go that extra mile to help you suceed in the program. All we have to do is show that we are willing to put in the hard work and go the extra mile that was needed to get there. It seemed hard at times, but the end results are always worth it.

The Sky Is the Limit – This university is an awesome place to the an education. The instructors are always available and willing to help you learn. They take the time to help you to progress. I wish that I would have started here first. Nothing here is given to you. You have to earn it. I can truly say that I have been ablel to implement the things that I have learned so far into my everyday nursing practice. Words can not really tell the full story of what I am gaining from being here. I wouldn't change it for the world.

The Best – In my opinion, UCF is one of the best colleges to attend. We are a very balanced school in regards to our athletics, academics and night life. With a lot of programs beginning, our athletic programs getting better and the amount of students that are starting to go to school here; UCF is a school that is up and coming, and coming up fast.

Great Campus – I am an Event Management student and I love the fact that UCF has its own campus for Hospitality majors. They are willing to help you on job interviews and how to build a resume, how to find internships, etc.

Learn to Longboard – Getting anywhere on the UCF campus is like a journey and a half. The bus system is not very reliable so either longboarding or biking to your desired destination would be your best bet.

You Get Out What You Put in – At the University of Central Florida, the curriculum is definitely not a cake walk. time management is key and you can not expect to get a decent grade if you dont bother to show up to class. Your grade mirrors the work and effort you put into it.

Culture Shock – Coming from a high school graduting class of about fifty to attending a gen ed class of more than five times that size was definitely a change in pace to say the least. But I found the need/struggle to assimilate myself into the new environment quite refreshing. I enjoyed having the opportunity to meet new people from backgrounds that varied from my own.

Orlando Is a Great Place to Live – There is plenty to do in Orlando. Living by the main campus there are local bars which most of the students go to. There is also a movie theatre and local shopping centers.
Living by the Rosen College one has more of a feel of living in Orlando itself. You are near all the local attractions and truly helps to live in the center of a hospitality hub.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
