They Are GREAT – All of my friends that lived on campus, loved it as well. The school was right there and UCF offers everything youncouldnpossibility need right on campus.

Warm and Sunny – Usually the weather is pretty nice. The sun is typically shining and the temperature is in the 80s-90s. The down side is that it can get really hot, especially when you're walking around campus.

Love It – I came from a community college with a few local campuses. It was a huge culture shock transferring to a university with more nearly 50,000 students, to say the least! Campus life is the most exciting part of it all, the student union is by far my most favorite place on campus.

Above Average TA's – My first semester at UCF has been a huge culture shock (coming from a community college), and one of the hardest things to adapt to was the size of the classes. At first I felt invisible because of how large they are, but I could always count on my professors teaching assitants to help me out. One class in particular, introduction to international business, I had a struggle keeping up with the magnitude of course modules and it reflected in my exam grades. The teaching assitants set up a meeting with me and went over (in-depth) my previous exams. I wouldn't have come out of the class with the knowledge and excellent grade if it wasn't for them!

Knights Football – The football team at UCF is very prominent to student life. Going to games is a social event within itself, and the community always shows up to support. I've only been at UCF for one semester, so I haven't had the chance to experience more on campus sports but I do intend to!

We Pride Ourselves on Having a Diverse Campus – We have many white students at our school, but the diversity is pretty good. You can find people of all colors, body types, and opinions here at UCF.

Parking at UCF between 11am-2pm is horrendous because that is when most students have classes, especially in the Fall. If you don't mind having class early like at 9am, parking is pretty nice.

Volunteer UCF is an agency in the Office of Student Involvement that's funded by SGA. It offers all these great volunteering opportunities to UCF students and allows them to really make an impact in the local community!

The UCF is beautiful. It is my favorite place on campus and it is so big. We have an indoor track (1/8 mile) and 2 pools: 1 for lap and the other for recreational purposes. Our gym is 2 stories and it has a rock climbing tower that is 4 stories high inside. We have 4 indoor racquet ball courts and a million machines for students to use at their pleasure. We have a million different types of exercise classes for students like ballet, zumba, kickboxing, etc. The gym is amazing and it's very clean. It doubled in size last year, so it became even more epic.

Tons to Do – There is and endless amount of things to do at night. From bars and night clubs, to comedy shows and jazz concerts. There is something for everyone.

The biggest struggle I've come across so far as a business major is the universities ever-famous Cornerstone course. This course is required in your first year of acceptance into the business college, and is unlike any other course you'll find at another business school. Along with a lecture you are required to take a lab to apply what you learn in the lecture. The lab is one big project where you are thrown into the world of business and must find ways to raise $1000 for a local non-for profit company. I did well in the course, and I must add that I learned a great deal outside of the classroom. Although it took a lot of time and effort I felt sincerely rewarded from helping a good cause, and learned about business while doing so.

Dining on Campus – There are many options for dining on campus. From ethnic food to vegan to bar food. There is something for everyone.

Mostly Commuters – UCF is heavily a commuter school, so there are a huge amount of cars on campus at basically any given time. Cost always seems expensive to me, no matter what college I attend. UCF is no different. Parking passes are exorbitant. But it's fairly easy to park and whatnot. We have nine parking garages around the campus. Buses are also convenient. And popular for those living just outside campus with no cars. Scooters, bicycles, skateboards, and rollerblades are also very popular.

What's Better Than Orlando, FL? The immediate area around UCF is a bit of a college town, with local business catering to students pretty heavily. But it's also a family-friendly area, with locals being typically very nice. There are many things to do in Orlando, more than I could ever list. Theme parks are huge here, of course. There are also quite a bit of bars, restaurants, shopping, etc. Beach is just a 40 mins or so drive away.

Great International Population – So many students outside the U.S. come to UCF. It's pretty cool to see. I've also heard countless great things about out International Services Center, catering to international students very well. There are resources for international students that I don't think they have at other schools.

Health & Safety:
Its Clean. I feel safe and there are always people on campus to run to if need be.

Health & Safety:
Never Felt Unsafe, but Have Heard Stories – I have personally never felt unsafe on campus ever. But campus security is transparent and open enough to send out emails when there are issues. So I do hear about minimal security breaches and whatnot. The only other reason I specified a "B" grade was because, several times, I called our on-campus SEPS (Safe Escort Patrol Services) to give me ride back to my car at night when my class is far, they haven't answered. But I know other people who have never had a problem.

Upkept and Well Maintained – On campus housing is wonderful no option is a bad choice compared to other campuses. Off campus financially choosing what is most fitting there are any options and different variations of living available.

Very Time Consuming – When I transfer to the University of Central Florida my financial aid paperwork got lost therefore making the process very long and tiring. At the end eberything worked out. My advice is to know due dates before hand and call your financial aid advisor.

Gym Is Incredible – The Wellness Center at UCF is amazing, they provide the students with so many resources to help them improve their body and mind. They also provide help for students with disabilities with is great, that way all students can experience the same opportunity.

I have never seen anyone use drugs on campus. No one has ever offered me drugs on campus. Drinking occurs on campus, but I have never seen it become a problem on campus.

Unsafe Student Housing. I lived on Knight Circle for four months and there was a total of three break-ins. They do not provide enough security for residents, specially because the location of the University of Central Florida is very unsafe
Sorry, there are no reviews.
