The weather does not really bother the students. Florida is a state where anything can happen when it comes to the weather. Classes get canceled only if there is a hurricane or tornado nearby which happens probably once a year.

Take the Shuttle. The shuttle system, in my opinion is very good at UCF. Besides the traffic or any other issues that are not in the control of the driver, the shuttle is normally on time and quite regular. There is a shuttle going every 15-30 minutes (depending on the demands) to different locations in school, apartment complexes and campuses. You don't even need a car!

It All Depends on the Campus. I attend the Rosen campus of Hospitality Management. Besides the on site housing, there really isn't any other choice within walking distance - unless you are willing to pay more than a thousand dollars a month or buy a house. I live about 10-15 minutes away from the campus and the price is much more reasonable and is still as safe.

though sometimes it take some minute for the bus to show up it is very reliable for students

Great Program – I am in physics and I love it here. The faculty, staff, and students are amazing. I am glad I came to UCF. I am planning to graduate and get a post graduate position. Finding a job in my field is a little bit tricky but not completely.

Amazing Opportunities – As a professional volleyball player, I liked the UCF wellness center as they provide great facilities to the students. I am able to go to the gym and play volleyball anytime I want both indoor and outdoor.

Not enough spots to park. Parking passes are expensive.

I never had an internship but I will find one in next summer. For me, an internship is very important before I start my real career.

Moderately Strict – The school enforces strict no violence or drug policies, but stays out of our way enough to keep it comfortable.

There but Invisible – There are those who engage in these activities, but often than not you will never see them in the process.

Getting Better All the Time – Our UCF knights are new to the league but our fan base is strong and we're growing more each and every day. We hope that very soon our athletic departments will be ranked along side the best in Florida.

Small Selection for the Standard Student – They tend to lose info quite easily and then have very little financial aid unless you happen to be an honors student or have bright futures.
College Senior 2012-04-13T19:02:02Z
Generally Ok – If you live on campus or close to campus you really don't need a car as the actual campus is very small and easy to get around. If you do drive to campus you may have to park on the top level of the parking garages but you should always be able to find something at least.

Fairly Large Selection Both on Campus and Nearby – There are two university affiliated dining halls that do provide decent food, but the cost of the meal plans is much to high in my opinion. There are several restraunt chains on campus such as subway, chic-fil-a and others if you want something a bit more "fancy" than the dining halls and it's usually about the same price. But by far the best option is always buying and making your own food.

So Diverse – The school is so large and you can find any community you like :)
Here is so social
College Junior 2012-04-13T17:30:34Z
Prices Are Too High – They are too old and the ones which are new are too expensive. For married people the options are limited and the prices comparing to the age of buildings and facilities are too high.
College Junior 2012-04-13T17:27:06Z
Not Close Enough – The restaurant near the campus are not that much close and this is because the campus is too big. The restaurants are good but they are not that much cheap that students could afford.

As one of the largest school in the country sometimes it can get a little crowded. The dinning on campus is not great but it does have a few options. The class sizes for incoming students are relatively large. Overall its not awesome but its not terrible either, it is just average.

Health & Safety:
I have never felt in danger and nothing has happened to me to date. I also have not heard from anyone being in danger or not feeling safe on campus. Overall I feel like it is a safe campus.
