The computer labs are easily accessable all around campus and the math lab can get crowded at times but mostly is a good place to do math homework.

I really like it. You have different places to study and the services that offers campus are always helpful. I like that campus is around a nice area where I can hang out after class and I don't need my car most of the time.

Local weather in campus can somewhat affects us, specially during hurricane season. However, campus have implemented safety issues and have successfully prepared us in case of any emergency. Due to some unexpected changes in weather, sometimes classes need to be cancel and reschedule. The rest of the year is a very nice weather, because it lets students hang around campus more often

Health & Safety:
We Feel Safe in Campus – I feel confident of the security that campus is currently providing. I haven't feel unsafe or feeling frightened by crime or safety issues. Fortunately, my campus offers a variety of services to students such as the campus police and late knight pick up van when you don't feel secure walking around campus late at night.

It's Been Going Smoothly – I received a good amount of money from grants and Bright futures, I just suggest applying early and apply for as many scholarships possible

It's Great Here – Spirit Splash was new for be but it was so fun and I love the people and the teachers here. It's a really good school

Public Relations Program – At UCF you have to be accepted into the PR program because there are too many applicants. I chose this field because I can get a job in many different organizations. I hope I will be able to find a good job after I graduate.

Large Campus – The weather in Florida is beautiful, so the only thing that negatively affects my time walking around campus is when it rains in the summer. Then, an umbrella is really needed because of the downpours. But, the rain doesn't last long so I can always duck into a building until it stops.

Guys & Girls:
Friendly Campus – The students at UCF are very friendly. I transferred over in my junior year and have made a lot of people. It is especially fun at football games and tailgating. It really is a very social and fun campus.

I drive myself to school and back home. The gas prices have been rising but my car gets good gas mileage so I fill up every 1 1/2 weeks and sometimes less if I have to drive far for clinicals. There is a public bus that provides transportation but I prefer not to use it.

Drug Scene at School – I am not sure about this topic. I rarely see other people who aren't in my program because we are very busy and have high amount of workload. I have never been peer pressured at my school and none of my classmates use drugs or alcohol.

Health & Safety:
Health & Safety – I believe my campus is safe. I have not heard of any crime on the campus and there are always security guards driving around in golf carts checking out the scene. I feel safe when going to school and feel safe leaving my car there during the day.

Poor Quality – I never lived off campus but have friends who do. The quality of the off-campus apartment buildings is generally poor. They are building newer ones and remodeling some others, so it's improving. It's easy to find cheap housing, but not quality housing.

Smaller Classes – I'm a double major in English Literature and Spanish. While the freshman classes can be quite large, most of the upper level classes are small which makes discussions easier and allows you to get to know your teachers better.

I haven't had my internship yet. In the Counselor Education program, you find your own internship off campus. They can be paid or not.

Do Your FAFSA – Everything was pretty much covered by financial aid. By that I mean loans and whatnot. You really need to fill out a FAFSA.

Interesting Approach – The Counselor Education program is ranked # 11 in the country (out of many, many programs). The courses will be relatively easy, especially if you are good with writing papers. The professors have a different approach than I've ever seen before. They give you very little information about assignments before you hand them in. They want you to make the assignments "your own" rather than giving specific requirements. Overall, good program.

UCF Knights have an excellent athletics department. The most popular is the football and basketball. There is not a swim team which I wish it was one. I will be glad to join the volleyball. Love those KNIGHTS!!!!!

Guys & Girls:
Down to Earth – The students are average and down to Earth. Love the social life and the new relationships that I have made are awesome.

The school that I chose was University of Central Florida. It is located in Orlando Florida where the heart of Florida is. Located in this city is Disney World, Universal Studios, Holy Land and a host of other attractions that is too numerous to name. This city is friendly and is one of the best tourist attraction in the world. It is a calm place to be and I would love to leave there when I finish my schooling. Orlando is much larger than I thought
and since the University of Central Florida a research there is no room for failure there. I really love this school and being a Knight.

BFA in Fine Arts – The Fine Arts program is restrictive to students with good grades in art classes, as it should be. Since this past semester, the portfolio review to get accepted into upper-level art classes is done online (uploading your images) - very efficient. Next semester I'll start my first painting classes (sophomore-level). I can't wait.

Wish I Didn't Have a Car – There's lots of parking, but unless you have a moped or motorcycle the walk to classes is extreme. UCF is a huge campus and if you don't get to class early you may not find a parking spot or you'll have to walk far either way.

Guys & Girls:
Mix of Everything – UCF is called the University of Central Florida for a reason. Orlando is a mixing pot of all sorts of people. The campus isn't any different. If you have a specific type of guy/girl you like or want to hang out with, you'll find them at UCF.

Why Live on Campus? The Prices are just way to high to be reasonable for the amount of space versus the cost. I live off campus because I can choose roommates who won't party all the time, a location that's not overrun by college students, decently quite, and above all inexpensive. I get a very large room, private bathroom, and have one roommate and pay less than someone sharing a space where there's four or more people living in the apartment.
You do your research and off campus living = A+

Great Shuttle – UCF chose a great part of town to locate their large campus. They dominate that area, which facilitates traffic and convenience to restaurants close-by. The shuttle bus stops at many apts in the neighborhood. Plus UCF is a main stop for the local Orlando "Lynx busline". I think they have a great system.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
