There are so many options to off campus housing it's ridiculous. The best places are where they have a shuttle that takes you right to campus. These include Sterling, Tivoli, NorthGate, Knight Circle, Peg Point, The Edge and many more. I believe there are 13 shuttle routes. Tivoli and Northgate are excellent locations because they are close to the Stadium. Sterling is pretty expensive. Knight Circle and Peg Point are affiliated with UCF so they are a little expensive as well but include good benefits. The Edge I heard is not the best but isnt a terrible choice. Parking is excellent at Tivoli. There are not many visitor parking at Knight Circle so it is a huge hassle and same with Nortgate there is only visitor parking available in the back. Safety is great everywhere usually. If you have any trouble with majors, dont declare Undecided. It's better to declare Interdisciplinary Studies to start off on something than nothing and drift. The Health center is excellent but I Dont trust their dental program. I went there to check my tooth and they wanted to completely change a million things in my mouth. The counseling center is amazing. They provide many opportunities for destressing and even opportunities to just talk about stressors in your life. There are maps all over campus and dont be shy to ask someone where something is. Everyone is willing to guide you to where ever you need to be. Go to UCF!!

Slow Process – Over the years I have received a decent amount of financial aid but it seems as if the disbursement period takes a little longer than anticipated. The financial aid office has helped out a lot so I recommend going to see them any time you have a question, they always know the answer.

Home Sweet Home – UCF is amazing! I absolutely love it here! The student population is so diverse, making everyone who steps on campus feel accepted and comfortable. My favorite part about UCF is how homy and inviting the campus feels.

Access to Everything – The University of Central Florida is in the perfect location for the college age group! What sets UCF apart from the others is that Universal Studios, Disney, and many other attractions are right in our "back yard"! There's so much night life as well as shopping, dinning, and anything else that a college student would be interested in!

Not Too Bad – Most of the time the food is pretty good, but sometimes I go in there and there is absolutely nothing appetizing. It would also be nice if they gave bigger portions and had longer hours.

Loves It – UCF is the best school ever! So much to do all the time and I love it here. Sometimes I wish I could be here forever... ok not really but you know what I mean

the greeks think that they are better than everyone else. They are rude.

Sports Are Getting There – Not many programs available, but they are building up athletics quickly.

UCF has a long way to go. Professors here for the most part suck. The math program is horrible. They need to change it back to the old way where you have a professor teaching, not student tutors in a math lab

There are so many different options to choose from so close to campus. Any type of food you could possibly want is available within five miles of the school.

Great Office Staff – By far, the most knowlegeble staff I've ever met. If you want to get aid, they'll find a way and help you get it. They know all the tricks.

I'm in a sorority and do enjoy it. However, there are many times that drama takes over. I enjoy the company of most of my sisters.

A Lot to Choose from – You can get an apartment with a pool, fitness area, volley ball courts, club house, shuttle service to campus and much more in a fairly modern unit for around $600 per month with 3 roommates.

Large Yet Doesn't Feel Big – UCF is the second largest university (single campus) in the US with over 56,000 students. However, it just doesn't feel huge. You can walk from one building to the farthest building in less than 15 minutes.

we need more parking lots or garges. We should build up than out, since were lacky space. It hard to find parking spaces and sometimes can take up to 30mins to find one.

The campus at ucf is very large and well maintained. Never see any trash on the ground. Everyone is very welcoming and has a open door policy. There are plenty of places around campus to study whether in groups or alone, either inside or outside.

So Many Options – The shuttle system is very strong at UCF if you live off campus.

Florida Sunshine – School is located in central Florida. You have about 2 months of winter (lower 50's) and the rest of the year is summer. The peak of the summer is kind of brutal (high 80-90's), but spring time is my favorite (from the 60's-70's). I would not want to live any where else.

Tourist Area – Daytona Beach is more of a tourist area. So most students will blend in with the younger crowd of tourists that come in for spring break and the NASCAR races. There are no on campus housing for students that do attend UCF but there are a lot of apartment complexes that surround the school area.

Affordable for Students – I attend University of Florida Regional Campus in Daytona Beach. Since it is in a tourist area there are many restaurants to choose from as well as fast food dining options which are always a help to financial struggling students like myself. Also there is a mall about 5 minutes away so the food court is also a popular spot for most students to go to to eat.

Well, personally I don't have a car on campus but I do have friends that drive. Although there may not be 'prime' parking spaces there is always a space available in the parking garage even if you have to go to the fourth floor

I have lived on-campus for nearly two semesters here at UCF and it has been a great experience so far. The campus is beautiful and teaming with life and exuberance. I really enjoy that with in the dorm community there are places for the residents to enjoy themselves. For example there are a few courtyards with benches and tables and many afternoons have been spent by my friends and me; doing homework, hanging out or just spending time outside. We also have the Libra Community Center and just about every week my friends and I pool together our resources and cook a meal for all of us to sit down and enjoy. UCF has really fostered a sense of community within myself. I love this school.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
