Athletic Centers – Our gym is brand new and excellent. There is every weight machine possible and several different cardio option. Kids can easily find an open treadmill, elliptical machine or bike to burn some calories on. Also, there are all different types of free classes for students offered each day so kids can get in a good hour of cardio, build muscle, become more flexible or even get rid of the sore feeling from long workouts. It's a great gym with all possibilities and they even try and go green in a lot of different ways. For example, they have a water bottle filler so you aren't forced to buy a plastic water bottle each time you get thirsty.

Depends on the Season – Classes get cancelled due to Hurricanes, but that's only a certain season. But usually if it's the summer or something, classes will still go on rain or shine.

Every facility at UCF is awesome. The pool and the gym are huge and always fun!
College Junior 2012-04-03T16:52:49Z
The UCF computer labs aren't always full. The only one that really has a problem with crowding is the Student Union's printing lab.

Depends Where You Go – Parking really isn't that terrible at UCF. If there is an issue, it's only because people don't like parking on the roof of the parking garage. What's it matter if you get to class on time, though, right? Tickets go out left and right, but if you follow the rules, everything is perfect.

They Don't Overdo It – UCF is a pretty chill campus; however, it's very reasonable with what goes on. The only thing that I would say is very strict is the number of tickets passed out for parking. It's like the police search as hard as they can for someone's one day expired license plate. Other than that, UCF is pretty relaxed.
College Junior 2012-04-03T16:46:05Z
Some but Barely – There really isn't much of a drug scene at UCF unless you count the occasional people getting caught smoking marijuana or something like that. Tobacco smoke is soon to be banned on campus so there's probably going to be even less.

Don't get me wrong I love UCF for the most part. But we accept way too many students, we are the second largest school in the nation and its hard to make friends or see anyone I know. I haven't really been able to have the "college experience" here.

Our gym is amazing at UCF ! It has been newly renovated and is twice the size as it used to be! There is everything you could imagine possible available at the tip of your fingers for an amazing workout. The UCF gym is open 6 am to midnight 6 days a week. They have a rock climbing course, every workout machine possible, an inside track, group exercise classes, places to study and places to eat inside! I love going there !

Financial Aid is not bad. It think that most people get the minimum money that they deserve based on their income etc. Sometimes we have to do the form again that checks everything and they are a wate of time.Sometimes they disperse money late or mess up on how much they give/ dont give you and require money back.

Guys & Girls:
Accepting and Diverse – It all depends on who you hang out with. There are students to tend to study more and go out less. Then you also have students who care more about their social life and having a good time. Students are have differse looks from being all done up, to not having any make up on, jocks in comfortable clothes, nerds like me rocking the yoga pants and hoodie, to sorority girls lokoking like they are about to go to a party.

Good Choices – I think in comparison to many other schools we have a plethora of dining choices. We have food thats greasy and tast to more healthy mean options. The dining halls have good food and they try to have diverse foods.Good places to eat at are qdoba, subway, asian chao and sbarro.

Lofts Off-Campus Review – Pros:maintenance fixes everything, police controls the neighborhood, office and RA's are always willing to accommodate and help, lots of events
Cons: The cost is extremely high and would prefer much lower, walls are very thin, keys tend to stop working sometimes

There are so many different clubs and different types of people its awesome. there are also many different types of religion and political beliefs. And a diversity of sexual orientation. We have everything. I mean how can we not with 50,000 undergraduates and 8,000 graduates.

Interdisciplinary Studies – It is very easy to get into my program. All you have to do is want it. And same with Marketing. It is my minor and I love it. But it is very difficult to get into the Ad/PR program. They only admit ten people a semester and it is the same if you want to declare it for your minor.

There are so many activities on campus. We have intramural sports that go all year including the summer. Watching games are even entertaining and fun. We have a lot of school spirit and our gym is AMAZING. Not only is there a new section and new courts and machines, we have classes that go from yoga to washboard abs. The athletics at UCF are amazing.

There are so many options to off campus housing it's ridiculous. The best places are where they have a shuttle that takes you right to campus. These include Sterling, Tivoli, NorthGate, Knight Circle, Peg Point, The Edge and many more. I believe there are 13 shuttle routes. Tivoli and Northgate are excellent locations because they are close to the Stadium. Sterling is pretty expensive. Knight Circle and Peg Point are affiliated with UCF so they are a little expensive as well but include good benefits. The Edge I heard is not the best but isnt a terrible choice. Parking is excellent at Tivoli. There are not many visitor parking at Knight Circle so it is a huge hassle and same with Nortgate there is only visitor parking available in the back. Safety is great everywhere usually. If you have any trouble with majors, dont declare Undecided. It's better to declare Interdisciplinary Studies to start off on something than nothing and drift. The Health center is excellent but I Dont trust their dental program. I went there to check my tooth and they wanted to completely change a million things in my mouth. The counseling center is amazing. They provide many opportunities for destressing and even opportunities to just talk about stressors in your life. There are maps all over campus and dont be shy to ask someone where something is. Everyone is willing to guide you to where ever you need to be. Go to UCF!!

Slow Process – Over the years I have received a decent amount of financial aid but it seems as if the disbursement period takes a little longer than anticipated. The financial aid office has helped out a lot so I recommend going to see them any time you have a question, they always know the answer.

Home Sweet Home – UCF is amazing! I absolutely love it here! The student population is so diverse, making everyone who steps on campus feel accepted and comfortable. My favorite part about UCF is how homy and inviting the campus feels.
College Senior 2012-04-01T02:27:46Z
Access to Everything – The University of Central Florida is in the perfect location for the college age group! What sets UCF apart from the others is that Universal Studios, Disney, and many other attractions are right in our "back yard"! There's so much night life as well as shopping, dinning, and anything else that a college student would be interested in!
College Junior 2012-04-01T00:16:10Z
Not Too Bad – Most of the time the food is pretty good, but sometimes I go in there and there is absolutely nothing appetizing. It would also be nice if they gave bigger portions and had longer hours.

Loves It – UCF is the best school ever! So much to do all the time and I love it here. Sometimes I wish I could be here forever... ok not really but you know what I mean

Sports Are Getting There – Not many programs available, but they are building up athletics quickly.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
