I Feel Pretty Free. I feel pretty free around campus to do whatever. There is even a free speech lawn where you can pretty much say whatever you want. The religious fanatics tend to use that quite excessively. In terms of partying, there is an average amount of strictness. By this I mean that you will get kicked out of your dorm for possession of illegal substances, which makes sense. Otherwise, it isn't too bad. The campus police and RA's too much of a pain.

Health & Safety:
Pretty Good – I would say that the security on campus is pretty good. They do a monthly emergency test to test all their email and text message notifications in case of an emergency. Also throughout campus there are the blue lights which I've heard have a quick response time from campus police. I've never really felt in danger on campus and I feel like they have it pretty much under control. Even living off campus at a UCF affiliated apartment, I feel safe because the police patrol and there is security around.

Absolutely Love It – UCF is an absolutely fantastic school. I was originally a little nervous about going to such a big school after being at a reasonably small high school, but all the people and staff helped make it a great transition.

Smoking Is Big – There are a lot of smokers all around campus, however there isn't a big drug problem. And alcohol is too popular either, but if it is being done it's probably hidden well.

Everything Is Great – Living on campus is pretty fantastic, it's is little pricy, but the opportunities to network are excellent and there is always something going on on campus.

Once you fill out the FAFSA form, you'll likely be offered a lot of grants, especially if you're an undergrad classified as an independent

School has offered many scholarships/grants and has a decent engineering school. They do, however, have too large of class sizes and my main concern with the upper-level classes is that they don't seem to always adequately prepare you for the next course (in one classes I had, the professor was complaining at us for the lack of preparation the previous professor gave us for her class--that was neither helpful nor encouraging)

Horrendous parking. Best time to park is before 8:00 AM and after 2:00 PM. If parking before the "best time to park", prepare to arrive on campus at least half an hour ahead of time. Traffic is a NIGHTMARE during rush-hour. Also, student decal fees have continuously increased every year (for the past several) and just last year it jumped up to $94 (yearly fee).
If there is no student parking available anywhere on campus, and you park on the grass, get ready to pay a ticket. I have never seen so many people out writing tickets as I have seen at UCF.

In terms of racial and gender diversity, it is very diverse. In terms of ideological diversity, the liberal arts section is very liberal (in the political/ideological sense) and will be moderately to extremely offensive to students with a more conservative background.

Throughout the day shuttles come through campus taking students to and from their homes and highly used shopping/dinning areas. They are extremely helpful, free, and convenient.

Computer Availability – UCF gives its students an abundance of helpful studying centers which each provide computers. Among these extremely useful centers are free printing areas and speedy networking which allows for all students to successfully complete all task that they feel need to be done.

Health & Safety:
Personal Safety – All around campus are little towers with bright blue lights on top. If in an emergency, or just feeling unsafe, a person can click the button on one of these towers and call a UCF police officer to come help them out. Because of this, and many other on campus safety procedures, I feel that UCF is a very safe campus and allows its students to feel a sense of personal safety.

Very Populated and Vibrant – There is always something to do or someone to hang out with. The school is huge and the majority of students are out and about. There's downtown or any one of our theme parks or home sports games or movies.
College Junior 2012-03-20T15:55:17Z
Mostly Clubs – There are really only clubs to go to so if you are not into that then you are out of luck

The variety of dining options at UCF is acceptable. There are even healthy options for students to choose from. The dining options for students include a mixture of fast food places and restaurants. Students will not get bored of the food on campus.

Living on Campus – The only thing that I like about living on campus is convienence. All your classes are only 5 minutes away.
College Sophomore 2012-03-20T14:20:58Z
Always Something to Do – There are many options of theme parks which offer student discounts. There are also many options to chose for shopping.

Some garages are more crowded than others, but there is always somewhere close to park.
College Junior 2012-03-20T02:24:01Z
Computers at UCF are excellent. They have laptops you can rent out for free, they a\have multiple computer labs around campus with really fast WiFi.

Guys & Girls:
The are many different sorts of both guys and girls due to the school being so large. So whatever you are looking for I am sure you could find.
College Senior 2012-03-20T01:14:44Z
There are lots of off-campus housing avaiable very close to campus. The safety of these places are pretty good since they are all so close to campus. They hold an expo every once in a while where different places come and try to sell their places to help students find off campus housing. A lot of new housing is coming off campus and more and more places are just now opening up with great amenities and reasonable prices. The availability can be tough because there are so many srudents at the school but the prices are affortable for most students.
College Senior 2012-03-20T01:08:38Z
Computer Usage – Our wireless network is good because you have service everywhere on campus and anyone can use it. It is sometime hard to get connected to the server if there are a lot of people around you that are already connected or in a dead spot on campus. There are plenty of computers to use on campus so it is not necessary to bring your own computer all the time. Printing is hard because the school makes you pay to use thier printers on campus and I think that is innecessary. The computers can get a little packed during finals time but other than that they are free to use and not that crowded.

Overall its a great University. I love my adviser and most of the professors are great!

Orlando, FLORIDA – Orlando is really close to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World. There are lots of good restaurants, spas, nail and hair salons, gyms, malls, and pretty much everything you'd ever need.
College Junior 2012-03-19T19:15:59Z
Repetition Overpowers Tastefulness – The choices in the dining halls doesn't vary enough and there are not enough options to provide a balanced diet, but the desserts and coffee are phenomenal.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
