Duh..It's Orlando – Not only is the University of Central Florida located in the tourist city of Florida, but they capitalize on that. The Rosen College of Hospitality Management gives anyone the opportunity to make tourism into a career. But UCF also is very environmentally friendly, as well as having a thriving club/social scene.

Could Be Better – The University of Central Florida is huge, and it's really easy to get lost in the mix. All of my freshman classes are large lecture halls and the professors range from completely uncaring to genuine about students' education. But the overwhelming number of people makes it hard for any part of my college education up to this point to seem personal.

Comuting Is Easy – UCF offers a busing system throughout the campus and to housing off campus. They offer a lot of parking for students who commute to the college.

Very Diverse Populalation – UCF has a very diverse population and is subject to every race or ethnicity in the world. The campus draws a lot of people nationwide and worldwide.

The food and dinning on campus is very nice. There is a wide variety of food and most is very tasty and could be eaten at anytime. The dinning areas have a very comfortable setting for having a huge student population.

Guys & Girls:
Knights and Knightettes – Both sexes are usually nice and outgoing around here. There is definitely variety seeing as UCF is the 2nd largest university in America. There are city folk, rednecks, ravers, and even wanna be gangstas all around as well as the foreign students. Definitely an amazing array of students.

Waterford Dining Experiences – Down the street from UCF there is a square called "Waterford Landing" and its filled with shops and great dining areas. Vito's is the place to go when looking for good homemade Italian food and then there's always the famous Friday's and Red Lobster around as well.

Health & Safety:
Knight Safety – I feel very safe on campus. There are lights everywhere on campus and you can see all around you even at night. There are also "Emergency Stations" that can call police to your area in 10 seconds all over campus and its guaranteed that anywhere you stand on campus at least one is visible.

UCF is a large school that offers a lot to it's students. UCF is that "College you always see in movies." If students want to make the most of their education UCF offers countless number of opportunities, rather it's internships, free courses, or even clubs that cater to each students lifestyle. No matter what you are looking for UCF offers it or at least will offer the resources to get you where you're headed.

Always a Way to Get Around – UCF offers many options when it comes to transportation. There are numerous shuttles and buses that take students around campus as well is off campus to affiliated spots. Weekends UCF offers transportation for students wanting to go to a shopping plaza or even a safe way to get to clubs and bars. Even if a student is living off campus and does not have a vehicle. Most apartment complexes have shuttles that run throughout the day transporting students to and from UCF campus.

Guys & Girls:
Being that UCF is the second largest school in the Nation, there is much diversity brought to this school. At UCF you will see a bit of everything; from jocks to nerds. There are students whom keep to themselves and there are many students who are outgoing. If someone is looking for something to do there is always something going on around the area, rather you're looking for a great party or even just a good hang-out spot. UCF offers something for everyone.

Parking is decent since the school is so large. However since the school is so big it takes a while to walk to class from your parking spot.

UCFs policies are pretty fair. All of the rules implemeneted are for a good cause.

On Campus – I do not personally live on campus. I live off campus in an apartment.

Humid With Random Rain – Florida means humidity and rain pretty much all the time. Classes are never cancelled for weather unless it is a hurricane. It can be a pain trying to run to or from class in the rain, but I've learned to always carry an umbrella in my back pack. I can't complain really, because it is sunny and warm almost everyday.

Sports Should Be More Important – When I came to college, I wanted a school that loved their varsity sports. I grew up loving sports and watching them whenever I got a chance. Our football and basketball teams are pretty good but nothing great. We are a part of Division I which makes it competitive but I wish we had a little more spirit when it comes to athletics.

Health & Safety:
Very Safe – I feel very safe on my campus. My mom worries about me walking home at night from the library but the pathways are very well lit and my dorm is very close as well. We have a safety escort service that is very helpful as well.

I Love It – I love the University of Central Florida. I am a Psychology Major and I love being taught by professors that are very intellegent and actually know what they are talking about. There are a very cons about UCF, but dont let them over weigh the good because it is a great school.

I'm still an undergrad, but the undergraduate program is great, all the advisers are really great in helping you figure out your schedules and what you really want your major to be.

Guys & Girls:
Everyone Is Friendly – There are a lot of relationships around campus and a lot of single people. I feel that it is probably 50/50. Everyone is really friendly and theres a huge diversity of people.

A lot of the apartment complexs can be dirty and pretty expensive but there is a lot of pros of living off campus. I live on campus right now and I am planning on moving off campus just like most of my friends. Off campus apartments are worth the hassel.

Guys & Girls:
Greek People Everywhere. I guess it's like that at all schools, but there are greeks everywhere. And they're annoying 97% of the time. Sometimes they're cool, but they tend to be sluts and man whores who pay they're house thousands of dollars just so they can be their "friend" and get drunk with them and then go off and do "philanthropy".

Meal Plans Suck – Knighto's and Marketplace, which is where you eat if you have a meal plan, serve the worst foods. I went there once and got chicken that was pink and under cooked. And they're expensive and a waste of money. Thank God for Chick-fil-A!

Amazing Gym – The gym at UCF is fantastic! It's 2 floors and offers so many great things! They have many basketball courts, racquetball courts, 1/8 mile track inside, aerobic machines, weight lifting galore, etc. They also offer fitness classes that are fantastic workouts and the instructors are great! They also offer personal training for a really cheap price! Outside, they have a lap pool and a leisure pool. They keep the place super clean and it's all pretty new. And we have a three story rock climbing wall. It's the best.
College Junior 2012-03-14T02:15:40Z
Free Buses – Transportation is great at UCF. There are free shuttles that come frequently, so you're not waiting to long. In addition, they run pretty late so that's another plus.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
