Freedom Is Great – Campus has very good policies protecting students allowing us to have a good college atmosphere. I enjoy the freedom of being in college and the fairness UCF has.

About Average, Pretty Convenient – Freshman dorms at Lake Claire is about average and a little outdated, but I like it. Courtyards are nice and residential events are always happening. Price I would say is a little high for what you're paying for, but it's convenient to live on campus: easier to get to class, go to events, meet other students, etc.

Plenty of bars and clubs to go out to near campus. Also, downtown Orlando is not too far from campus which is abundant with bars and clubs.

Guys & Girls:
There is a wide variety of people at UCF. Jocks, preps, hipsters, indie, all types of cultures. It is a great mix.

Computer Labs – We have computer labs for printing or just use. Usually there is not a long wait which is good. Also the Wi-Fi is typically good, but sometimes there are issues.

Good bus networks. Just be careful. It is Orlando.

Great School – I think UCF is very diverse an fun! They have a lot of resources for the students and a lot of different clubs that would fit everyone's personality. I like it!

There's always something going on. Somewhere to party or somewhere to go meet people. There's not many clubs who aceppt 18's. but it's good overall.

I currently work in a microbiology lab at a local hospital, which is very helpful in my decision and studies. It gives me the chance to see irst hand what's done behind the curtain, while I am waiting to finish my pre-requisites for the program.

Computer Technology – there are plenty of computer labs and open computers all over campus. The printing lab is very convenient and all of the software is up to date.

Health & Safety:
Safety is not really an issue. Campus is well lit at night and students are always around.

Very Nice but Can Get Very Hot in the Summer – During the summer months, it can get extremely hot and you do not want to be outside for long periods of time. However, in the other months of the year the weather is actually quite nice. It is nicest in the winter and fall months when there is a break from the heat and there is usually a slight chill in the air.

Never Anywhere to Park – The only reason the grade is not lower than a D+ is because of a recently built parking garage. However, parking is still a nightmare, and it is necessary to get to campus way in advance of a class because finding a place to park can be so difficult.

State of the Art Gym – The gym was recently renovated and is now more expansive than it was previously. It has new equipment and there are trainers there for people who are new to weight lifting. There is also a rock climbing wall for those who are adventurous.

Not up to Par – The parking situation on campus is a bit rediculous. There are never enough parking spots, the permits are completely out of price and if you do manage to find a parking spot it will most likely be on the top floor of the parking garage. Very inconvienent!

A Very Open Campus – From what I've seen the diversity on the campus is completely vast. No races are mistreated or looked down upon. Everyone is treated equally and it really is a good sight to see.

Health & Safety:
Fires on Campus and in Buildings – The campus itself is very well prepared in the case of a fire emergency. Each building on campus will have a routine fire drill where the kids don't know what's going on and we follow a route to the exits. These drills go very smoothly and the school would be ready if there ever was an incidence.

The actual office is not usually very helpful because if you call in to talk to someone you'll probably get someone who has no idea how to help you which is frustrating. But i'm sure if you actually went into the office it would be more helpful. Definitely figure out all of your financial aid problems as early as possible though.

Greek Week – Not many students are involved in Greek life, surprisingly, but it looks like a lot of fun and i always see reps from different greek houses trying to encourage students to get involved.

Knight Life – There is an organization that provides activities for students to do at night that are safe and alcohol free. The events vary from free movies, carnivals, comedy shows, and even speed dating.

I have never seen any drugs or alcohol on or off campus. I can say that the school has tried to increase the prevention of drunk driving by providing a free shuttle to and from clubs/bars near the campus.

Nightlife at UCF is pretty average. Most students like to go to off-campus clubs and parties. I'm an older student so I guess you can say I don't get easily excited about partying because I have been there and done that. The school does a great job at trying to offer alternatives to parties, like bible groups, plays, student government meetings, and different musicals. This is something that would be more appealing to the older crowd.

The computer labs at UCF are always accesible and easy to use. You never feel rushed because there are more than enough computers to go around. The labs are in quiet and comfortable seetings, and you are confident that you will receive the assistance needed if there is a glitch in the system. The lab rooms are also very spacious and you have more than enough room to put all of your belongings. I have never had a problem on campus so I give my school two thumbs up in this area.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
