It is incredible. Every course I took prepared me to be a classroom teacher in K-12 public schools. I feel like I learned so much. Additionally, I was able to participate in an undergraduate honors thesis, which I felt really helped in preparing me for graduate school. The facilities are excellant and convenient. The workload is perfect and doesn't contain too much or too little. Job opportunites are great after completing the program.

Off campus is excellant. It is right down the street from the college and many offer single bedrooms and bathrooms, which is nice for privacy.

Living on Campus – I did not live on campus, however, I did live in a dorm that was related to the campus and was considered UCF housing. The cost was excellant, it was extremely convenient, and the process of getting a room was extremely easy. The only downfall to the facility was the it became invaded by mold and some students had to evacuate to another living facility because it became a danger.

The office can get pretty crowded periodically and I wish they would think of a solution to the long waits. But besides that, the staff there is very clear and helpful. My advice to getting financial aid would be to get the paperwork done early and to not hesitate to call the office and wait for assistance.

Business Testing Lab – We are not allowed to bring cell phones into the business testing lab under any circumstances. One time I brought one in my pocket by mistake and received a warning. I think it was nice of them to give me a warning and that I did not get in trouble on my first offense. But I see why they have the policy.

Guys & Girls:
What I See – There are definitely more Caucasians at my university. Everyone is very friendly for the most part. There are so many different styles of clothing, it would be hard to pin-point one. But majority wear jeans on the skinny side. Popular clubs include the ones in the plaza across the street including Fubar, Knights Library, and Deko. The library and student union are always full during the day time. There is a wide range of interests that people have, that's why UCF has so many clubs. Everyone goes to the football games.

THE COMPUTERS AT UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA ARE DEFINITELY "STATE OF THE ART". UCF LIBRARIES HOUSE OVER 350 COMPUTERS AVAILABLE FOR THE UCF COMMUNITY ANYTIME THE LIBRARIES ARE OPEN. EVERY PC COMES LOADED WITH SPEEDY INTERNET CONNECTIONS AND USEFUL SOFTWARE SUCH AS WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, AND VISIO; EVERTHING A COLLEGE STUDENT NEEDS.

The facilities at the UCF are great. There is a state of the art gym available to all students with an indoor track, as well as many other amenities.
The campus also boasts a 24-hour Student Union for student use with computer and printing labs. The Student Union also has many amazing restaurants. Sometimes it feels like a mall food court.
The College of Arts and Humanities has an art gallery that is free to students and has many great shows all year. The Theater Department also puts on fantastic shows throughout the year. The Theater and Music Building are completely new. The include many practice rooms.
The campus in general is very beautiful. Taking a walk through campus is always nice. Especially relaxing by the reflection pond in front of the library.

The Melting Pot. There is major diversity at UCF, and plenty of clubs to prove it.

The University of Central Florida has a five floor library with many computers on each floor. It does get a little crowded around lunch time and when finals are coming up but I've always been able to get one in under five minutes. I haven't felt the need yet to bring my own computer.

Event Management Internship – For my major, I have to take 3 individual internship courses where internships are paid and need to be 16+ hrs. I believe it is a great requirement, especially in the Hospitality business where one could learn so much from actually going out there and doing it instead of learning from a book. I believe that at the Rosen College they give us resources to help us find internships and it has been a great way to learn and apply my education!

Not sure, only lived on campus freshmen year and the strict thing would be always having cops around on the main street onto campus. There have also been random checks on our main road, so they can be pretty strict since there is always people stopped there.

For a college area, parties aren't as popular compared to other college concentrated towns, usually with your group of friend and/or sorority/fraternity. In Orlando, going out to some local bars around UCF (usually when you're under 21) and mostly downtown is where there is a more nightlife going on. Though mostly everything is 18+, it could use more actual nightclubs and transportation downtown.

Stict but Fair – If you do something wrong, you get punished. That's simple. Don't be stupid. Act like an adult.

Never a Problem. I don't hang out with people who do drugs, so I'm never around it. I haven't heard of any big issues with drugs in our area.

Downtown Is the Best – Orlando has pretty much everything you need to have a good time. I suggest going downtown. It's the best prices on drinks and cover charges. Parking is a bit tricky sometimes, though.

Great School! I love UCF! We have a lot of great programs for everybody to get involved. There's also a lot to do on or off campus. Because of the location, it's convenient to get to anything you need.

Mostly Bars – The bars and clubs near campus are really laid back and easy to get into. It's not hard to drink underage there either. They aren't the classiest clubs, but they work for us college kids on a budget just trying to drink cheap.

Guys & Girls:
Good Mix. UCF has all kinds of people, from the rednecks to the city people. The guys there are hit or miss, some are really attractive and others aren't at all. A lot of the girls are really pretty.
College Junior 2011-12-17T03:04:59Z
Best of Both Worlds – The night life is great because right around UCF you have the college town feel with the bars and things around school and everything is cheap there. Everything is 18-and-older. For a club or city scene all you have to do is go to downtown Orlando which has a great club and bar scene. There are buses that take you to downtown and get you into a club for 10$ on some nights as well as the school provides you with a free pass to call a taxi and pick you up once a semester.
College Junior 2011-12-17T02:59:19Z
It It Slowly Building – The athletics at UCF is getting better. There is not as much tradition because it is a newer school, however the students do seem to have a great interest in the sports teams and want to support them.
College Junior 2011-12-17T02:53:36Z
There is no wi-fi in my dorm but there is almost everywhere else on campus and it is very fast. There is a computer lab in my dorm building as well as many other places on campus and they are usually available. Almost everyone has a personal laptop

I love UCF and the student section at events is always packed and stays loud during the whole game. The campus has become the 2nd largest in the nation and by the number of people you know you are not alone and can always meet someone new. There are many recreation activities and offers for students. Overall UCF has a lot to offer and is a great school

Night Life – The night life in the UCF area can vary depending on the time of the year, the place that you will always find something great to do is Downtown Orlando. Includes clubs for 18 and up. However cab rides can be pretty expensive if everyone in your group is drinking.

Always new and great restaurants located right down University Blvd. Short trip to Orlando theme parks, and arena. 5 minute drive from campus to nice outdoor, shopping center. Great area to rent an apartment and be a college students, local parks and exciting activities.
