Very Good Dining. The dining options at UCF are varied and of high quality. The university-run cafeterias are nice, but have conflicting hours and are spread very far apart. This is a problem for students like me who have to walk everywhere.

Health & Safety:
Outstanding Safety. The University of Central Florida takes its students' safety very seriously, and it shows. The environment is free of conflict, and I feel completely safe walking whenever and wherever I feel like.

Just Checking Them Out – I receive Bright Futures scholarship based on my high school achievements and that is helpful. I am currently reviewing options on the UCF website for additional scholarship funds - including options like this one!

Hercules Is Cool – I've been in student housing since Summer B and it is cozy and comfortable and I've been extra lucky with great roomies and floor mates! I love the close quarters and constant activity.

Floridas Bipolar – Theres never a guarantee of what are you are going to get: Sunny, rainy, windy, hurricane here or there. There is a great area to hang out when its nice, but other than that its nice if you can cut through the buildings.

They have absolutely no filing system because of how quickly UCF has grown. Forms are lost and improperly filed.

Computing Resources – There are multiple printing and computer labs around UCF, free wifi, some free printing labs, you can check out laptops and ipads at the library, I dont have a computer and the resources around school are always available.

When it comes to convenience, the housing of UCF is top-notch. You are right on campus where everything is. Also, since diversity is a major part of campus, living on campus allows you the opportunity to meet countless new people; not only your roommate, but those on your floor, in your building, in your community, etc. Applying for housing was painless. Simple.

Acceptance at Its Finest – Orlando is vast and diverse with so much to do, not only for individual entertainment, but for bettering the community as well. Of course the major theme parks (Universal, Disney, Seaworld) are just 30 minutes from the University of Central Florida campus, but there are also miniature golf opportunities, and countless other areas for fun. The surrounding businesses are very accomodating to the students as well, having college student discounts and sales. All around, the town of Orlando is where you want to be.

It's my hometown, so I pretty much tired of being here. But overall the location of the school is perfect, its like its in its own town. Its not the location its me, just ready to move on to bigger and better things!

Variety of Places – There are apartment and houses. The sterling apartments are the nicest yet most expensive. The apartments on Alafaya are bit unsafe in my opinion because its such a busy road where people walk up and down at night. There have been trouble with raping and theft, but the apartments that are not located right on Alafaya feel alot safer.

Beautiful Architect – UCF consists of new to old buildings. Although the older buildings are a bit rickety, the new buildings make up for them. They are beautifully built. The gym looks brand new, all buildings are kept amazingly clean.

The UCF gym provides a large array of equipment and free exercise classes. As a bonus, there is an 80-foot rock wall available for all students to use free of charge.

Orlando - Enough Said – Theres a million things to do such as theme parks such as Disney , universal, Harry potter world, sea world, etc. there's also sporting events, concerts, downtown and other unique places to go. Lots of places to eat and hangout with friends. There's also relaxing things to do like swim at a pool and shopping at some of the best malls in Florida such as Florida mall and millenia.

I don't have a car on campus, but it seems like it would be difficult to find parking. Parking permits are expensive too.

Very Good – Of course you get tired of eating at the dining halls, but the food is excellent. There are also many restaurant and food options on campus.

Hercules and Nike Dorms – The Hercules and Nike dorms at UCF are great. When all of my friends were living in old, dilapidated, depressing buildings at other state schools, I was living at a resort with a pool, volleyball courts, and the gym within two minutes walking distance

The weather at UCF is beautiful. It is usually about 70 degrees. Summer can get really hot, however, there are so many beautiful trees that shade the areas.

General Campus – UCF is so modern and always growing. The facilities, such as the rec and wellness center, the library, and the office of student involvement are great opportunities to study and get invovled.
