Campus Life – It's very much a social campus. There's always something to do. There are some really good programs here too. The arts is huge in Orlando, and the city and school is growing.

There aren't many drugs on campus. Alcohol is present, but it's college, what do you expect?

Degree Program – I am not that happy with my program. (Advertising/PR Bachelors) It is a limited Access program. When I first transfer to UCF I was discourage by the adviser not to apply to this program it is hard to get into. Now once admitted to the school I tried to applying and the admission requirements are much different. I would of got in before so I am very disappointed with how discouraging the advisers are.

I think the athletics could be better... The student involvement is great! But because we are in a lower football division the football games and tailgating isn't that big of a hype. I'm not sure if I have ever seen a sporting event at UCF yet.

Health & Safety:
Safety and Security – I feel that UCF has a very safe campus. There is a police station right on campus just for UCF. There are also blue box's that you can alert if in trouble and an officer will come with in minutes. Over all I feel extremely safe at night and during the day at UCF.

Very Accessible – If you learn the ropes and when to go, you'll be fine.

Stay on them and check and re-check all your paperwork

Typical College Town – Plenty of bars around the campus area, plenty of house parties

Campus Life – UCF has to be one of the most beautiful campus on the US. It is extremely big and they provide so many things that you don't want to leave the campus once you're there. The recreational center is the place to be, you will find everything you need there; our library is just amazing. Go UCF

Private Transport – Most students at UCF have a car. The public transportation takes so long that you'll never make it on time. As for the shuttle, if you live by the school, it can help. But your best option is your own car

No Better Place Than Chick Fil-A – The first time i went to the university of central florida, known to most of us as UCF, i felt like i was at the food court at a mall. There were so many restaurants nearby the school that if you were to pick a restaurant to eat everyday for the time you're at the school, you'd never run out of places to go. But my favorite one is Chick-fil-A, besides their wonderful tasty chicken, they have an amazing milkshake that comes every summer. Well i'm probably biased since i loved them, but there are other and cheaper places like mcdonald, wendy's, steak and shake. i guess you cannot go wrong because the campus itself is full of amazing places you can.

No Drug Related Activities Seen – I have not seen any drug related activities since I go to UCF other than smoking.

Lots of Restaurants – There are a great number of good restaurants around UCF area. Sometimes you don't even know which restaurant you should go to because most of them are so good. My favorite place is Panera Bread. My group and I usually spend a lot of time here discussing our school work and projects while eating some good meals at the same time. We have had a good time there. The prices at the restaurants around UCF area are fairly good for students.

Variety of Food and Dining Options – There are a lot of different dining and food options around the campus. Students will not have to wonder what they want to eat today. However, sometimes the lines get too long that many students are not patient enough to wait to their turns, especially when they are in a hurry or having a class in 20-25 minutes or so. Overall, UCF Student Union is a good place to spend time eating and hanging out with your friends.

Buses Are Amazing – Most of the off campus apartments have a shuttle that runs every 10 to 15 minutes to take you to and from school. Its the best way to get around. Never have to worry about parking or forgetting where you parked your car. Tottaly recommend taking the shuttles

parking here is tough. you better get here on time or be late to class

nice florida atmosphere, but some college professors cant teach as well as community college professors. they only read off powerpoint slides and some cant speak proper english. they can be hard to understand and that will be detrimental to you grades. you basically learn everything by yourself here and go to lectures to be graded for attendance or here whats going to be on the tests.

Nothing Extravagent – UCF has an eloquent campus with many top of the line facilities but the overall feel that comes from the student population is the "this place is not all that great" feeling.

Athletic Center Is Amazing – One of the most recognized aspects of the campus would definitely be the gym which probably has 200 machines for people to work out on. there is also a constant staff at every part of the gym, making sure everything is safe and working properly.

Health & Safety:
Campus Security Measures – One of the things i find very effective is how whenever there is criminal suspicion on campus, an e-mail dispatch is sent out to all students to be aware. In general, there are always security staff working at all times of day, they even can pick you up at night around campus if you aren't feeling safe.

Of course we have over 50,000 students, but the parking garages are always full and you always will get a ticket if you illegally park. If you live on campus, you totally don't need a car.

The amount of low costs places in the Central Florida area is abundant. Student discounts aren't around too often and the best places to check out is Waterford Lakes.

Pretty Strait Forward. I never push the barrier and never have any issues.

Not for Me. I don't get involved in the late night scene...I get much more enjoyment from sleep and dreams.

Guidance counselors are not always the best. It's easier to find things out on your own.
