Athletics is highly supported throughout the school and city. Team performance is exceptional, and student involvement is always a plus. Students are also being engaged. School spirit is widely acknowledge throughout the city, and the Recreation and Wellness Center is a beautiful place to go. I enjoy taking Yoga classes there.

The city of Orlando is beautiful and UCF is situated in one of the best parts of town! When people visit UCF, they usual refer to UCF as being its own little town and I strongly agree. The campus is always hosting cultural events throughout the year, sports and recreation is very popular, and attitude of locals is very polite. UCF is also situated between two main roads which makes commute across town very accessible. There is always a main highway located a few blocks away from UCF.

Health & Safety:
Healthy & Safety – The security on campus is very much engaged and involved. The students are sent emails anytime an issue in the community arises, there are involved organizations, and workshops throughout the school year. Campus crime seems trivial, such as, stolen or loss phones. I never worry about personal safety on campus outside of normal precautions, such as traveling in pairs. I feel very safe on campus.

Join the Honors College, If You Can. The Experience at UCF is like being in a crowd, you need to find a group to stick with if you don't want to get lost. The classes are large as any, but if you join the Burnett Honors College, then you can take almost all of your classes with less than 24 people in them. Also make sure to find clubs that interest you.

There are several good apartment complexes around campus, most of which are about the same, if not cheaper than, the prices for campus housing. There are also many neighborhoods, and moving into a house with a few other students is a great option after freshman year.

Variety, Not All Cheep. There are a huge number of restaurants around campus, most are fairly cheep, but not as inexpensive as I prefer. There are a large variety, and you can find almost any type of food within 10 minutes of campus.

UCF has been great to me. We have decent school spirit, although there are always people walking around with an other school's gear on. I've done study abroad through UCF and it was great. My professors have been great. Love it here.

Guys & Girls:
Everything Is Here – UCF has a lot of really nice looking girls. I'm sure it's the same for the guys as well. A lot of chances to interact throughout social events and night life.

People from Everywhere – UCF is nice. A lot of international students study here due to our proximity to corporations as well as being a high activity research university. A lot of different races can be seen all throughout the day.

The cost for parking are way too high and they should not expire each semester. Sometimes you have to park clear across campus from where your class is located.

Great diversity in the school. Everyone is very accepting.

I do not agree with this school's financial aid system. I can barely afford to go to school here let alone live here and they are not very helpful with getting you what you need to be able to stay and go to school. My bright futures scholarship is decreasing every year and I still have not been able to contact anyone who might be able to help me recieve more scholarship money.

Campus Life – The campus life at University of Central Florida is amazing! There is always something to do around campus, and if there is not then we just make something up to do and get everyone to join in. There are many opportunities to meet new people and gain new friends. There are constant parties, games, social events, and so much more.

Printing on Campus – It is such a simple and easy process to print on campus. There are round-the-clock computers and printers available in pretty much every building of the school. There is a printing lab where all you have to do is sign in and select a computer, then you are able to print 20 pages a day for free. And even is it is not free you are able to print in the library for 10 cents per page, which I think is a great deal!

I Love What I Am Doing. Engineering is one of the hardest majors, but it is a great, fun, and very rewarding field. The engineering program does it's best to show the fun side of engineering, especially in your first year. UCF is one of the best places for engineering and has an abundance of resources and connections for students to utilize.

Just Don't Be Stupid – Campus police are here to help you. They love seeing kids having a good time, and will even come talk and encourage you. As long as you are not doing anything against the rules they are supportive. I have even been cheered on by campus police while skateboarding around campus.

Good Food, but Gets Old – Food is great. That dining halls are newly remodeled and they cook your food in front of you. Eating in a dining hall gets old since you don't always choose what you eat. But not having to cook and being able to just walk in and eat is really nice on busy weeks.

Great Security – Never saw any parties in the towers. Very wuiet and all halls are monitored. Pretty strict on campus.

Tailgating is awesome. Game day stinks if you live on campus and you aren't going to the game. All the roads are closed.

Pegasus Point – Not such a great place. Cops are always there..constant loud parties. Trashed parking lots and hallways..Bugs!

Not Good, but Getting Better – I've gotten ridiculous parking tickets for not having anywhere to park while living on-campus. There's never been enough parking, but UCF recently put up a huge new garage which has helped a lot.

While the scholarship department is quite great, I had my own personal problem with it. I have a particular scholarship, and I was trying to clarify with them about it. And they kept confusing my scholarship with something else, and I emailed them for approximately two months before resolving it.

Love the Gym – The gym is spectacular. I feel in love with it on the first visit. It has a rock climbing wall, and two floors of great workout equipment. Four full sized courts, and an eighth mile track. What could get any better.

Health & Safety:
Safety on Campus – There are stations located around campus where, if needed, you can call for help. There also is a system in which you call a number, and you can be picked up around campus and taken back to your dorm any time. I always feel safe.

I Don't Regret It – As a biomedical science major, it is hard at times because it is so time consuming. You basically have no time for yourself because it is mostly gone studying. But i don't regret it. It is an eye opener all the studying and in the end its one hundred percent worth it.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
