My Summer on Campus – Living on campus was more costly than living in an apartment, as I also was forced to have a meal plan because there are no kitchens. The dorms are also a good 10-15 minute walk from any of the classes, and in Florida chances are you're either dealing with extreme heat or pouring rain, so that was another strike against dorms. However I had a good time and made a great deal of friends, so I guess it wasn't all bad.

The UCF campus is not strict at all on anything. The pretty much let you do whatever you want. They are pretty adamant about not allowing underage students to drink alcohol and have RA's check dorms weekly for illegal drugs and alcohol to keep everybody safe.

The off campus housing is really nice at UCF. UCF even offers free transportation to students who live off campus and that is very nice for people who don't have vehicles.

The Nursing program is extremely competitive. I 3.8 is the average required GPA to get into the program. The program only accepts 120 students every year so it is very important to make excellent grades.

Predominantly White, Several Minorities – While UCF is predominantly white I think that because it is such a gigantic school there are representations of many cultures in our student body. They make their presence known and assert a more multicultural experience.

The off campus dining options are excellent. They have a much wider variety that what if offered on campus, with many more vegetarian options. The prices are relatively the same and some places stay open much later (especially if they are next to a bar). Some types of foods include: pizza (Lazy Moon), Pita (Pita Pit), cuban food (Rice and Beans), ice cream (Jeremiah's), and falafel (Falafel Cafe). All delicious and cheap options. I hope they keep open for business!

Summer and Spring= hot morning, rainy afternoons, hot nights
Winter= cold morning, cold afternoon, cold nights
Fall is a rare time when we have beautiful weather.
Florida is bipolar however and weather is hard to predict
But we have the perfect weather for beaches and tanning!

UCF provides different shuttles to off-campus apartments and shopping plazas near by. UCF now has zipcars, you pay (a decent price) to rent a car for a few hours or days.

There are about 13 different locations to eat at, and about 10 different franchises on campus, plus two location for those with meal plans. The meal plans food is excellent and worth every penny.

I attend UCF and I absolutely love it. The campus is full of events and organizations that makes it easy to get involved. There is always something going on whether it is stands placed outside giving away prizes to movie nights to free food. The campus is very big but easy to get around. It is all in a circle.

Guys & Girls:
At UCF, the social life is a big thing. Every where you look you see and meet people you never knew before. There are various types of organizations and clubs to join to meet new people. Greek life at campus is a great way to get out there and get involved. There are lots of sororities and fraternities to choose from.

Student Union – The Student Union is a great place to eat, study, do homework, and socialize. It is also a great place that you can get your questions answered. Not to mention the SGA supplies student with 20 free blank ink prints a day and a scranton a day there. The best part is the Student Union is open 24/5.

Parking at the University of Central Florida is terrible. You have to buy a parking pass to park on campus unless you park in free parking which is very far from anything. Even with a pass it is hard to find a space. Year parking passes will run you $88 and $44 per semester.

School Spirit! University of Central Florida has decent sports teams, but student involvement and team spirit are pretty high! We tailgate for every football game and its a part of student life to go to games!

There are so many things to do around and at UCF its great. Since we live in Orlando you can go to all the theme parks like Universal and Islands, Disney, Wet and Wild, and Sea World. Almost everyone I know has a pass somewhere! Each year, once a year, every student at UCF gets into Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure for free!

UCF is known for a lot of partying and having a good time. I enjoy tailgating before the football games, and going to our basketball games to support the team. It's also a lot of fun to go out around here, because there are so many places to go and things to do.There are also so many students here that you are bound to make new friends. The only thing that I wish was different was UCF's acceptance of greek life. The advisors of the school aren't really into the whole greek life thing, and it shows.

Guys & Girls:
Overall Student Population – There are a lot more girls than there are guys at this school. The girls are also more attractive than the guys; well it's easier to find cute girls than it is to find good looking guys. This most likely has to do with the ratio of guys to girls. Fraternities and Sororties are pretty big on campus, and you will always find them at the gym. A lot of us go out, and you can meet a ton of different people that way too.

Football Is Big – I love to go tailgating, everyone is there. I havent heard much about volleyball or anything else

The UCF BFA Musical Theatre program is a growing school here in Florida. While top BFA schools are known to be Carnegie and Florida State, UCF is going to sprout once people know more about it. It's seen as the backup school for most theatre students auditioning for colleges. UCF's theatre faculty is amazing, they work to see you do great while still enforcing and training you for what future jobs would treat you. It is simply amazing.

Guys & Girls:
The guys and girls here at UCF are most of the time friendly, but, of course, you occasionally get rude people. It seems since it's college, everyone likes to party, especially my suite-mates... They are very sociable almost always though.
College Junior 2011-10-06T14:47:35Z
Meal Plan – I, personally, have an All-Access 7 day meal plan, which I use about 4-5 times a day. It's a great deal. However, I feel like there could be more options that could connect with other restaurants rather than the two cafeteria-type places on campus. The food in the cafeterias could also be more diverse and the workers are sometimes rude and are uncaring at times. The meal plan provides you with 50 knight cash dollars which I can use on restaurants on campus like Asian Chaoi, so it has its benefits. Overall, it is a little above average.

UCF is rich of diversity, many exotic looking people walking around and in your classes. As you meet new people, you realize the diverse of culture and languages that are present in this school.
