Health & Safety:
Crime Sometimes Find the Back Door – The campus for the majority of the time is pretty safe. But when something bad happens it's seldom that it will be a minor thing. That's what is my biggest issue, the crime that finds a way to take place is no small incident.

It Has It's Bad Moments – I came to University of Central Florida because of there well credited engineering program. The professors are all expert in there field but some because they are so involve in there filed of work they do not have much time to offer. And quite of few do not have English as there first language so communication can be difficult. But over all the teachers are willing to instil knowledge and help the students progress in there journey to obtain a degree.

Great People, Great Experiences – The friends I have met here are amazing. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. The classes are fun, but do require a lot of work. There is still plenty of time to hang out with your friends or go out at night. It's the best!

Parties, Not Clubs – Some of the clubs are cheap but I am still not into spending money to be surrounded by drunk sweaty people. Parties are much better because You typically know many of the people there, its cheap and its a lot lower key than a club.

I do not have a meal plan. But from the opinions of others i have gathered that they have a very broad selection of foods. There is always a healthy option, salad bars, fruit, etc. They give you plenty of flex bucs, about 50 a week.. this seems like a little much though. If you have an unlimited meal plan, you probably wont be going to eat at the other options on campus. But the opportunity to be able to is always nice. When you break it down the meal plan ends up being about $8 a meal which is the same as if you dont have a meal plan and you eat out at the dining halls. I suppose the benefit of having a meal plan is to get the flex bucs?? Im not sure.. it doesnt really sound like a good deal to me! but hey.. plenty of people use it, so it must have its perks. As far as the other meal options go there are regular fast food options such as, chick fil a, subway, tropical smoothie, chinese, etc. There are also plenty of restaurants. Two in the student union, and maybe 10 or so down by the arena.
As for me, I choose to go grocery shopping and very rarely by campus food. I live in a dorm, so i do not have a kitchen but i still make the best of it. I usually have fruit/ yogurt/ cereal for breakfast, make a sandwich for lunch, and a salad for dinner. I also have frozen meals i can whip up as well as pastas and smoothies. I like this because it allows me to control what I eat and make sure that I eat healthy!

There is computer access everywhere across campus. The Library, computer labs, study areas, and also you can rent laptops. Professors encourage students to take test and quizzes on campus because of the reliability, speed, and wonderful connection it offers.Free Printing labs are located in the Student Union and the arena. Although the library's printing has a small fee.

I live in off-campus housing closest and convient for me. The cost of living is affordable and I enjoy living where I need to be located for work and school.

I live in a highly traveled city where people come from all over to visit our local well known attractions. Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. Orlando is also traveled for conventions and is rated in the top 10 conventions spots in the U.S. We are also centrally located from either coast an hr- an hr and 1/2 you can be at the oceans edge. Whether living in Orlando or just coming for a visit there is plenty to see and do I love living here!

All the facilities are state of the art and provide all activities and interestes for students; specifically the recreation and wellness center.

Lots of Shopping! There are so many options and places to shop in Orlando. It seems like it is even more so around the UCF campus, for easy access to students. There is also a high risk of criminal activity in the area as well. Many break-ins and murders have been reported in the Orlando area.

Guys & Girls:
Everyone Is Active – On campus there are a lot of physical activities, a new gym, and I also notice a lot of students jogging. Everyone seems physically fit and always exercising.

Comput Science – I really enjoy being a Computer Science major and being in the College of Engineering. Everyone seems very well qualified and I am confident we have a good program here at UCF. However since I am only a freshman I don't really have too much experience with the program.

The earlier you apply the more aid you get. The aid is very generous and part of the reason I chose to come here.

All the dorms at UCF are relatively nice compared to other schools. Everything generally looks clean and spacious.

i cant provide a honest answer for this question because i dont play any sports nor any of the games. But i have seen the practices and the school spirit on campus, and if the games are as intriguing then it must be great

GREAT SCHOOL – the diversity in the school is great... the food and atmosphere embraces and promotes culture and individuality.

Housing off campus can be expensive. You're better off renting a house than renting an apartment. Most complexes have gates but it doesn't stop people from coming in. Security can be an issue!

In Orlando, there is Sea World and its sister parks Discovery Cove, and Aquatica, Universal Studios and all the Disney parks. As for shopping there are plenty of outlet malls. We are a huge college football city. Everyone here roots for UCF. The overall attitude of the people is a little poor and mostly tourists just looking to find their way.

Room for Improvement – Parking on campus can be extremely stressful at times. There are an abundance of lots and garages available to students but I feel that UCF issues too many passes. Freshman should not be permitted to bring cars to school, and they should not be allowed to purchase parking passes. If we cut back the number of cars allowed on campus the entire parking experience would be a lot less stressful.

Abundance of Off-Campus Options – The University of Central Florida has an outstanding selection of eateries located off-campus. The surrounding area offers anything from fast food to fine dining. If I need to grab a quick lunch there is nothing better than Huey Magoos. The most delicious option at Huey Magoos is their chicken finger snack that comes with french fries and texas toast. Another reason I choose to go to Huey Magoos is because they are extremely supportive of UCF. The dining room at Huey's is decorated with UCF pictures and posters. They also offer a lot of options that are very budget friendly. In addition to Huey Magoos, there are quite a few other options that are all equally appealing. A student at UCF can never say that there is nothing to eat!

Outstanding Resources Within Reach – I am currently studying for a future career in the health care field. As a Health Sciences major the courses offered at UCF are challenging, yet extremely rewarding. Each course requires a lot of time in order to read and study the material, but upon completion of the course you feel that you have truly learned something worthwhile. One of the greatest aspects of the Health Sciences program at UCF is the amount of amazing resources at our disposal. We are fortunate enough to have outstanding professors and academic advisors located directly on campus. These professors and advisors are always willing to help out a student in need. Another amazing aspect is that within minutes of UCF there are several prominent hospitals. These hospitals offer job and volunteer opportunities that will surely help anyone hoping to pursue a career in health care.
