It is amazing. A lot of room to study, different environment depending on the floor.

I've Never Had an Internship – Ideally I would complete an internship however, I don't have the time and archaeology/anthropology internships are few and far between in this area.

Health & Safety:
Safety Is Average – Safety on campus is average. There is the occasional strong-arm robbery or car break-in but overall I feel safe. Alerts are always provided via email and text if there are serious issues. Given the size of the school I don't think the crime is out of control.

For a school this size, they really should have a larger office. Speaking to someone on the phone may be difficult at times. The staffers are knowledgeable and are willing to explain situations and what is needed.

Dorms Seem to Be Kept up Well. The dorms on campus are better than most I have seen. The housing at UCF is fairly new and offers students a substantial amount of space. Students aren't crammed into tiny rooms like sardines as I have seen at other colleges.
The best option by far is the towers. They are the newest dorms and offer and apartment style living for students.

Dining on Campus Is Pretty Good. The UCF campus offers a very wide variety of dining options on campus. From school cafeterias to actual restaurants, the options are plentiful. Meal plans are not offered at all locations, but that is to be expected.
My favorite location is Tailgaters. It is a Sports Bar style restaurant that offers a large variety of on tap beers and a friendly atmosphere.
I have not yet dined in the traditional dining halls so I am unable to comment on them.

Guys & Girls:
Awesome Diversity and Community – When you're at UCF you feel like you're with a big family. It can be kind of intimidating at first being on such a large campus but just about everyone you meet is extremely friendly and open-minded. It's also very easy to get involved if you want to meet new people. In all honesty the people at UCF is probably my favorite part of attending because of how diverse, yet open they are to each other. It's a real community.

Cheap, Lots of Variety and Potentially Healthy – Dining on campus is well above average. There are numerous popular restaurants all easily accessible, as most of them are in the Student Union, and affordable. It ranges from places with very healthy possibilities like Smoothie King to restaurants where you only have a few minutes in between class, like Burger King. I'm very pleased overall with the options available and the notability of the restaurants.

Greek life for people that cant make friends and like getting spanked in their own erotic fashion.

Needs Monorail, and Bike Trails/Lanes – Lack of Bike Trails to UCF campus, have to use sidewalks to get to campus and shuttles only go to designated UCF affiliated housing. Really needs a metro/monorail train surrounding a 5 to 7 mile radius around the campus.

Hospitality Program – I came to the University of Central Florida because of its amazing Hospitality/Event management program and campus. The Rosen campus caters specifically to students that are majoring in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Event Management.

well i dont party alot. but there are parties at greek row and several clubs off campus. the school provides buses. and there are several hot spot resturaunts on campus.
College Junior 2011-08-25T21:50:56Z
Across the Street – There are many resturaunts and fast food placed right across the street from every campus housing. The university provides transportation to go off campus with UCF ID.

Health & Safety:
Personal Safety – A perfect example just happened at the campus. There was a suspicious package and the school closed down and evacuated the building where it was found. All traffic, including foot traffic, was diverted away from that area.

Elementary Education – At UCF, the program affords two endorsements along with the degree. One being a Reading Endorsement and the other is ESOL Endorsement. These are certainly qualities that are much needed in the education field.

I Love That Knight Life! UCF is amazing; there's always something going on and with over 56,000 students, you get to meet new people everyday! The classes are modern, and the professors are great. UCF is also located in Orlando, which is great for students to get jobs and have many different career options, since it's such a huge city and attracts many tourists.

From Point a to Point Z – We have on campus shuttles that take us up to five miles out to different living areas. It is really convenient and best of all FREE! The buses pick up all around the campus and is typically on time. I enjoy this service very much.

Come Alive in the Night Time – Here at UCF, the nightlife is pretty cool. There convenience in drinks, location, price, etc. Several people always show up to ensure a good time and the music always has me and my friends moving.
College Junior 2011-08-25T19:46:23Z
Alcohol Is Common – The drug scene at UCF is not that bad at all, it just depends on who you're with. Most of the students drink alcohol, it's definitely more common than drugs.
College Junior 2011-08-25T19:41:32Z
Apartments Are Great! Apartments are actually pretty negotiable, they have many deals such as early move in specials. Plus most of them around UCF have a shuttle to take you to school and back, which comes in handy when garages on campus are full!

Team Work in and Out of the Locker Room – The athletics at my school are very vibrant. Students always come out to support our teams and the atmosphere is always beautiful. Most involvement occurs on the tailgating end but just seeing all those faces reinforce the support our students have for our Athletics.

Academic Requirements to Socalize – The university is very strict on academics, certain GPA requirements must be meet in order to participate in Greek life and in athletic events.
Recent Alumnus 2011-08-25T19:13:23Z
The campus is a dry campus, so drinking is only allowed during tail gating and in established bars. They are very strict on under age drinking.

Health & Safety:
There is an abundant amount of resources available for maintaining good health and well being. The campus is quite safe and I never feel at risk, however there is an occasional theft or burglary that occurs which is expected due to the fact that there is 50,000+ students that attend the University.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
