I'm in OSI Productions and it has been an excellent experience. It is a great way to stay connected with my community and better my resume for my career in film production. It allows me to take another step to getting that edge in the workforce.

Always There for the Student – At University of Central Florida, the professors are very flexible. They will try their best to make sure that you, the student, is taken care of. The campus is a little spread out but it allows you to meet up with friends almost anywhere.

Waterford Lakes – It is a good little place about five minutes away called Waterford Lakes. It is an awesome place to hangout with friends on a friday or saturday night. There is a lot to do and personally I like to people watch. There is plenty of that to do. Plus you can do a lot of browsing and shopping for really cool clothes, food, and necessities for the dorm. What will get you in the end is the price of everything. It may be fun to hangout, but it can be expensive if you don't discipline yourself.

The Hidden Beauty – The University of Central Florida is located in the huge city of Orlando, allowing students plenty of exiting activities and attractions all within a 30 minute drive. There are plenty of clubs, restaurants, fun places like indoor laser tag and mini golf, and don't forget easy access to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. With all of these crazy easily accessed attractions most students fail to realize the hidden beauty of the Little Econlockhatchee that lies right in UCF's backyard. My friends and I just happen to stumble upon and since that day whenever we are bored the Little Econ is where you will find us. It offers hiking, fishing, canoeing, awesome rope swings, exploring, and a great sense of adventure. Our adventurous Black Labrador Retriever, Gerkin, absolutely loves leading the way down the trails, and swimming up and down the river. We have explored so much of this river we have actually created of series of bridges from trees we have chopped down ourselves, as well as creating shelters in areas were we stay the night. So while every other college student is struggling to find parking at a club or a restaurant, we are simply enjoying life with each step we take deeper into Mother Nature's sanctuary.

Nike and Hercules Are the Best – The dorms at UCF are very nice. They are very modern and the Hercules and Nike Dorms are the best! They are located right next to the pool and the recreation center so it's convenient when wanting to tan and work out. They are also located walking distance from the Student Union which is the centralized building on campus.

Communication Sciences and Disorders – I'm in the College of Health and Public Affairs at the University of Central Florida and loving it so far. The professors and advisors are very helpful and I know I can go to them whenever I need something or someone to talk to.

The environment surrounding UCF is one of a kind. The poeple are very nice and the fact that there are a variety of shops and restaurants 10 minutes from the University is very helpful. Not having to travel far distances to buy groceries or to go out is very convenient.

Orlando + College = Awesome – It's calm and peaceful. There are activities and lots of events. There are so many theme parks located throughout the city. There are a lot of trees and at times stores and buildings are a bit spread apart. The school itself is huge and there is always an event going on. It's like its own mini city. There are a lot of plazas in the city. In all it's a nice town and wonderful school.

It Can Be Interesting.. College is located not too far from theme parks. There always seems to be something going on in the town. Orlando has a great basketball team and a developing soccer team.

Easy Squeezy – The process of getting into my Communication of Sciences and Disorders major could not have been easier. It is considered an "open major", which means you do not need permission to join. I could sign up for classes in my major without having been accepted.

Experienced Professors – I spent the past two years as an Elementary Education major learning from professors who actually taught in Elementary schools during the day. It was nice to have professors with real experience and not just someone with a degree lecturing to me.

Perfect Location – Orlando is known for it's amazing theme parks and nightlife. There is an attraction designed for practically any hobby. University of Central Florida is on the border of the busy Orlando and the quite town of Oviedo, making it the perfect location for both busy city students and small town locals. The University is less than an hour away from the beach, which adds to the long list of activities available to students. The only worry at this school is the stressful parking, which is guaranteed to take an extra hour out of your day.

It's amazingly vibrant and fun! I love the campus life and don't want it to end!! I love that the campus itself it a seperate community and at the same time it's a part of Orlando. When I leave school the first thing I think of is to hang out downtown or play mini golf on I-Drive where I feel completely far away from school life. I can hop on i-4 an head up to New Smyrna beach where I feel totally tropical and on another planet completely different than UCF's area. I love Orlando for the diversity of things to do in the a small proxmity.

I Am Biology – I love the Biology program at UCF!I dont want it to end and I wish I could do it over again. I learn so many interesting things about life and how the universe and everting in it was created and maintained. I know I will find a job in my field and I know I can start now by helping my professors with their studies.

School Created for Nasa – UCF is a science based school with a lot of focus on space and technology. The next big study focus would be business. Most of the professors are nice and understanding. They make an effort not to schedule all of the final exams on one day. The campus also just got an amazing new medical study building that I'm very excited about. No Zoology or Animal study programs which was disappointing.

No Regrets – As a Restaurant and food services management major, i didn't exactly make a secure choice. I picked my major in the time of our recession and i was told over and over again by my parents that i was making a dangerous choice. I plan to work in the restaurant business and plan to own my own someday. My concern right now is finding someone to hire a college student for a cooks job. Most restaurants nowadays want experienced, full-time employees.

Not Just a Needle in a Haystack – Going to a Hospitality college is really cool. The entire campus is focused on the same subject. I'm a Restaurant and food service management and in a normal university i might not ever meet another restaurant major except in classes. At the campus you get to meet and interact with others in your field. Also the advisers help you with job searching in your field.

So Much to Do, So Little Time – Orlando is a city with so much to do, its hard to decide what to do at times. In Central Florida is the Rosen College of Hospitality Management which is the hospitality campus of UCF. It is conventionally located 10 minutes away from Universal Studios and Disney. When wanting to go out at night, i would drive down international drive which has it all. From restaurants, bars, clubs, hotels and even a small themepark.

Attractions Attendant- Universal Studios – Rosen College has an excellent internship program Hospitality majors are required to do 3 paid internships. I have been working at Universal for at least 16 hours a week.
