The overall quality of a students academic experience at UCF increases when they divulge into their major and get out of general education courses. This being said far to much time is spent on useless geneds that will have no impact toward your major or career.I am a political science major and was require to take several math and science classes as a part of the general education program.

The process to get into the Hospitality major was very easy. When you applied to the school you were automatically accepted into the major without having to complete any special application process. Once your in the major then they tell you special requirements to graduate, but nothing special to get into the major.

Orlando at It's Best – UCF is near the exciting and vibrant area of Orlando. Downtown Orlando offers the best professional sport experience, as well as great concerts, and delicious restaurants. Drive in the opposite direction and you get to the Disney area with great dinner shows, roller coasters, and luxurious hotels.

Orlando Has So Much to Offer Both Students and Alumni! From theme parks to nature trails, Orlando has just about everything a student and/or post-grad could ask for. Not to mention the beach is just a short drive away! If you want to stay within walking distance to your classes, there are all types of shops and restaurants both on and off campus. You're never too far away from a good time.

I Love Education – I have yet to get my degree, but so far I'm loving the fact that I am in education. I enjoy being around children and helping them so that they can help others when they get older. I would, if I could do it all over again, because teaching our future leaders is an big impact for me.

I joined the UCF Knights because I was told to believe they have an excellent education program. I came with high expectations and they were all met. The professors there are excellent at what they do and getting their students to being the best educators in the state. The professors are always available and ready to answer any question you may have. Participation at UCF is encouraged, because it helps you to better understand your peers and yourself.

UCF is a great place. It is like it is own little town or city. There is lots to do on campus, so leaving would just be pointless. The excitement at football games or basketball games is just amazing! In the Central Florida area in general there is a lot to do, such as bowling, going to the movies, or grabbing a quick bite to eat. I love UCF, I believe it is the best place to be.

Orlando is a very college and tourist town. Some areas by the school are so pretty with lots of words and even deers sometimes. There are lots of places to go out with close friends and even met new people like the college bars, the downtown area, etc. Our school is known as under construction forever. Orlando might not be to safe but every college neighborhood has a under cover cop watch out for the bad guys. I love Orlando and wouldn't want to go to any other school!

School Focuses on Student Learning – A lot of help is given to students. Researches in which students participate are likely to affect the policies of the school concerning the education given.

In general the facilities (from libraries, to food, to gyms) are all well maintained and accessible. During busy times some of the gym classes can be hard to get into, but other than that they are all well presented, the grounds are maintained on a regular basis, and the school, overall, is kept in great condition.

Health & Safety:
While I don't think it's overly safe (as a string of burglaries and shootings seem to be common near campus frequently) I personally have never felt unsafe or scared. At night there is the SAPS (I don't remember what it stands for but it's the guys on golf carts that come and pick you up and will drive you around campus at night so you don't have to walk) that I've used a few times and there is almost always other students present walking around campus.

Legal Studies – I have had many incredible professors and very few that I disliked. The Legal Studies program at UCF is excellent. My professors are more than willing to give me career advice as well as write recommendation letters and set up internships.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
