Just Be Honest and LOOK! I pretty much just applied for FAFSA and I was able to receive enough financial aid at UCF. The school is also generous in providing poor students with help and opportunities.

Not Much to Do – Only places around here are bars and night clubs. Drinking is prevalent among students because "there is nothing else to do around here." Theme parks are only for those that can afford it, other than that it is pretty boring here. Crime rate seems to be on the rise in this area. Local communities are friendly to students.

Nursing School – Much of nursing program at UCF is pointless busy work. The design of the curriculum should be improved to enhance the students' ability to learn and actually retain the information for license exam and clinical practice. Workload for students require them to sacrifice sleep, without sleep, much of what is learned in class are not retained. Specific classes that are not as important to clinical practice or licensing exam should be made online to allow more class time for more important material.

Campus Police – Our school is not very strict, There is not much action that takes place on campus for the most part everyone seems pretty level headed.

Dining Hall – The dining hall is very clean, we also have a variety of healthy foods and snacks available. I would definitely recommend it! The only issue I would think most students agree on is the price, it is a bit steep. But overall great quality, clean, convenient.

Upperclassman Dorms: Very Nice! The upperclassmen dorms at UCF are nice. They are very big and roomy. We're close to the student union and the library so we can eat and go and study. It is an awesome place to be living.

There is always something to do at UCF, school related or recreationally. I would recommend this school based on the fact that you can NEVER be bored.

Permit costs arent too expensive....if there were ever a spot to park in! Parking is HORRIBLE. Ive driven around for an hour and a half looking for parking. There are other options, such as the "Park and Ride" system; however, the majority of students arent aware of this.

Health & Safety:
The campus is safe and patrolled. We get regular emails/notifications regarding any crimes in the area. Although there are crimes, I still feel safe on campus.

Off-campus dining options are plenty and readily available. Most restaurants are open until late and there are many fast food restaurants that are open 24 hours around the area.

Campus Offices – Campus offices with high demand can become very crowded and backed up. Efficiency of the staff may become lower and more irritable assisting large crowds. Some registration and class adjustment processes can be very tedious and difficult. Though there are many different tools available to assist students in almost every aspect of the curriculum.

Drinking Vs. Drugs – Drugs are not really all that evident at University of Central Florida. Underage drinking seems to be a more prevalent problem than drugs.

Nightlife tends to be for 21 or older, but many of the UCF clubs allow 18 and up in. There are always hot girls and guys at the bars and clubs around UCF. If you want a more mature crowd for 21+ students, downtown Orlando is the place to go.

Up and Coming but Is Missing Some Sports. The teams especially in the last year or so are becoming more recognized nationally like football and basketball. The stadiums and games are fun but there are some sports the school doesn't have yet, which they should have being such a large school. But id guess that in the future they will come but otherwise its a fun school to be at athletic wise. Oh and intramurals are also really fun.

Everything You Could Ever Need – Orlando is a great city. There is always something to do and plenty of places to visit. The location is only a couple hours from the beach at a max. Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios are 15 minutes away. Every different type of restaurant available and all of great standard.

Variety of Opportunities Available – I will be attending the University of Central Florida in Fall 2011 and thus far I have found that this university has so many different opportunities and options for their students. I am a Psychology major and have found the department to be very helpful and inviting, provided a great assortment of classes, internships, and co-ops.

Social Life and Educational Opportunities – The social life at UCF is very lively and many opportunities are presented to students. There are many different things to do, and not everything is based on drinking. There are also many student organizations to join that allow students to expand their academic and future life.

The diversity of the UCF campus is mainly split down the lines of black and white, although there is no great rivalry between the two. Other ethnicities are under-represented on campus though
