UCF is strict in that it desires for its students to be responsible adults. The staff arent task masters they simply expect for the the students to behave resonably and also for them to be on their best academic behavior. UCF strives for excellence and i love it!

I have reviewed the off campus housing and i have found that they are exemplary. The apartments are very suffisticated and spacious. Also, for the area not very expensive.

Not a Lot That I Can See – I have been at UCF for 1 semester and have not seen any drug related things or peer pressure yet.

The location of UCF couldn't be perfect. You are 20 minutes away from downtown Orlando and there are plenty of things to do such as theme parks, dancing, and bowling.

Have All Your Information – Although applying for financial aid and scholarships by nature are time consuming tasks, the best way for you to expidite (and keep yourself sane) the process is to have every imaginable GPA, start and finish dates, ect. available.

So Far So Good – Being a new student, I am still getting familiar with all the things that UCF has to offer. My overall application and enrolement has been fairly smooth and I have recieved wondeful assistance from the staff at UCF.

Have Not Started School Yet – Since I have not started classes at UCF, I cannot give a complete review of my take on the diversity of the student population. I can only make a rating from the minimal exposure i have had throughout the orientation process. The student population didn't strike me as a very diverse one; there seemed to be predominantly white students attending orientations.

Hot Hot Hot. It's really hot in the summer and fall, so it's kind of hard to walk around in pants. The campus is easy to get around, though, so it's not too bad.

Good Greek. Pretty good. A lot of events and quite friendly. It is slightly a status thing, but the people are friendly and the parties are nice.

Lots to Do Safely. There are various parties, clubs, and a lot of transportation to ensure safety. There are many places to go. there are shuttles around the campus as well as around town.

The transportation is resonable good, they come around every 10 minutes and get you where you need to go, even off campus.

They have many rules, but don't do to much in trying to enforce them.

The marketplace as it is called is located far from living areas and the food is slightly above average. The best thing would have to be the food variety, there is a lot to choose from.

Restaraunts Galore in Orlando – Once you wander outside of UCF's beautiful campus you're immediately greeted by University Boulevard's rows of dining options. Most establishments don't exceed $7-15 per plate, but there are also fine dining options. For the student on a budget, Lazy Moon pizza offers a drink and 18" slice for under $4.

Health & Safety:
Extremely Safe Campus – UCF has a low crime rate and a peaceful atmosphere around its campus. Located throughout are emergency response beacons to be used in the case that any student required immediate assistance. Also, the University has its own on-campus police station, providing extra security with constant patrols.

Students Come First – The needs of the students are UCF's top priority. Clubs have a lot of freedom and oppurtunities to be creative. The SGA (Student Government Association) has access to a lot of money which is uses to give back to the students. The gym and library is open late on a regular basis.
College Senior 2011-08-04T03:34:30Z
So Much School Spirit – The teams at UCF consist of nothing but the best players. And the students are such fans of their players and support them all the way. Athletics are very important and hold a lot of our school's pride.
College Senior 2011-08-04T03:24:31Z
Under Construction Forever – This is one of the acronyms for UCF because it's always under some sort of construction. Which I don't think is necessarily a bad thing. This university is very modern and keeps renovating, which is what makes it such a beautiful school. There are so many resources available for students who are struggling in any class. Teachers are very punctual and always there during their office hours for extra help. There are hundreds of easy ways to get involved. Everyone that I know that goes there loves it.

The cost of parking is a little high and the cost of parking tickets are 30 dollars. Parking is very strict. if you park on the line you receive a ticket even if your car is too big for the space.

The wireless availability on campus is limited. The dorms do not have wireless but instead ethernet. In general the computers and the software are up to date and they are technicians that can also help you if you have problems

Rec and Wellness Center – The Rec and Wellness center is a start of the art facility. It has up to date fitness equipment and fitness classes to help students stay in shape. It is a perfect place to relieve stress and also study.
