Don't Really Know – Since I just started and I'm at Rosen don't really know how it is.

Student Lounge – There is this great students lounge at Rosen where students can meet to study or do homework. I met up with my team to do a project and it is really quiet, you have space to do your work and relax.

Rainy Florida – Florida is very unpredictable as always so sometimes it makes the experience a pain when it rains.

The only financial aid i have is Bright Futures. I had a few others coming in from High school but those are all out. I find it hard to win scholarships given directly from UCF, they are very limited compared to the amount of students who attend

I am not very familiar with off campus housing. I have heard one place has a meal plan to go a long with your apartment. The cost of apartments are cheaper than say the University of Florida.

Great Food Off Campus. Off campus dining is great. Most places are very cheap, you cant really walk to these places but they are a very short drive.

Campus of Doom – I am not really sure what the punishments are for UCF or strictness. I have always been someone that has followed the rules. I know there are no drugs and alchohol on campus.

UCF has alot of students involved in Greek Life. When I transfered there I really wanted to be in a sorority. I rushed and didnt get into a sorority. I was really crushed, all my friends got in their freshman year. Since I transfered as a Junior I felt like I was not wanted. Sororities and Fraternities do host lots of parties and events. But thats not all thats going on at UCF. I have gotten involved in a Christian Club, Scuba Diving Club, the intermural volleyball team and other campus activities.

University of Central Florida is a great school. I transfered there last year from a community college. The campus is beautiful and well constructed. The professors I have been truley terrific and a great help when talking about my future. I never feel nervous or worried about talking to one of my teachers. I can tell they want to help their students and provide them with the best information they can. With my first year at UCF as a Junior I have had straight A's and have gotten Deans list. I study hard at the library and in class. I love that UCF has its own library for education majors. The online website is easy to navigate and the registration process I find very easy to sign up for classes. A lot better than my community college.

One thing that separates UCF from other schools is its constant expansion. When I first attended it was a lot more unknown than it is now. It is constantly growing and gaining more and more popularity as a great academic institution.

The night life is great. There are a couple of local bars that are very popular with the students right across the street. If you are under 18 there are some decent parties. And if you have some extra cash, many of the amusement parks offer discounts to students.

Good overall facilities. Some buildings are a little old but new additions are always being added. Such as the expansion of the fitness center. And the renovation of the library.

Love It – never a dull moment. environment is beautiful. so many perks to living in orlando. definitely still pick ucf if I had to do it over
College Senior 2011-07-26T00:16:57Z
Never Enough – ucf is joked to stand for under construction forever and therefore the parking is forever lacking. don't drive if you don't have to a leave plenty of time if you do.

Lived in Libra – living on campus is not bad by any means. on campus living is very clean and updated with plenty of options. not bad for freshman or upper classmen.

We're in the conference USA....we're not FSU, or UF, or even USF. Athletics are important and we do excel in some sports, but school spirit is not as strong as other schools because there are so many people who come to this school. It's one of the largest in the nation and alot of people are simply here on business; to get their degree and be on their way, they don't really care for the athletics. Students get involved here though, there's always something happening with SGA. There's always tents set up outside the student union for some kind of cause. I can't speak for the varsity athletic facilities, but our recreation and wellness center is t***! It was already awesome before they expanded it, but last spring they finished an addition to the weightroom (including racketball courts) and put in an outdoor olympic size swimming pool.

Only 2 Dining Halls. There's Knightro's and Marketplace. Knightro's is aesthetically nicer but more limited in terms of variety. Knightro's is also cleaner compared to Marketplace, which is filthy. Marketplace may have more variety than Knightro's but I have heard some disgusting stories from friends that worked at Marketplace (Maggots....'nuff said). Both places have healthy options on the menu though, which is good, it's not all pizza and burgers though at times.....it's all pizza and burgers. Apart from the dining halls there are various eateries around campus; kyoto, dominoe's, einstein bros., chick fil a, starbucks, etc. There's alot of vendors in the student union, lots of choices. Dining halls give this school a C.

Health & Safety:
It's Dangerous from Time to Time. This is Orlando, and it is indeed a large city. In large cities there is crime, particularly not too far south from campus. In effect students fall victim to robbery from time to time.
College Senior 2011-07-25T21:59:47Z
My school is great. Its not soley based on athletics but it still has a strong athletics department. Summer terms are super chill but you still get stuff done. There are always events going on year round and lots of free stuff for students!
Sorry, there are no reviews.
