Health & Safety:
Very Calm – My time on-campus has allowed me to focus completely on my studies. I have never had to worry about any type of insecurities other than the obvious "don't leave your valuables out of your sight."

A Lot of Opportunity – Orlando, being an internationally recognized city, is definitely a fun place to live in. Not only is the job pool very flourished, but the attractions as well. The fun outside of school is definitively a plus for this University.

School Spirit – There should be a better recruiting system to encourage young athletes to come to the University of Central Florida. This is a pretty cool place to study and enjoy college life and I think that when the property marketing highlight those points everyone should want to come here. Orlando is a great city and people from all over the world come here but the university does not have the vision to take advantage of that factor.

Predominantly, I notice an overwhelming majority of white students and a very small percentage of Hispanics, Blacks and Asian in that order.

Academic Advising Is Always Helpful – University of Central Florida has a lot of tutoring programs to help students in time of need. Along with one on one tutoring, there are SI sessions, study groups, study union, and all Knight study, where students can go to the UCF Arena since its open 24 hours a day , 7 days a weeks during exam times. Not only are there great tutors, but the academic advisers help keep students on track for graduation and success.

The process is fairly easy. The school writes out the steps for you to complete an informs you on what you still have to complete in order to receive financial aid.

I live in off-campus housing, however, it is not student living. Student living around University of Central Florida has a lot of irresponsible students that do not care much about the property which is a reason why I decided to live in a normal apartment.

Becoming an Accounting major feels like an accomplishment because Accounting is the top dog major in the College of Business at University of Central Florida. I also feel its important to have the accounting background because it teaches me responsibility. The workload of the program is pretty intense and the standards for the program are more difficult to achieve than the other majors in the College of Business. On a brighter side, I believe in myself to accomplish my degree with the best of my abilities.

Guys & Girls:
Wide Variety – At UCF you'll find a variety of guys, even at the Regional Campuses you can find a wide array of guys. Its the same with the girls, everything about UCF shows that there is something for everyone!

The frats are great. There's a ton to pick from with each having something unique and different to offer in one way or another. The pledging process isn't too bad, and the parties and socials are unbelievable.

Whether it's a club or a house party on campus, there is always something going on every night of the week on or around UCF's campus. The phrase " There's nothing to do" doesn't exist when it comes to nightlife at UCF.

Great Instruction – I chose UCF because of the unlimited amount of opportunities as well as diversity, but specifically, the professors are extremely knowledgeable and legitimately care about giving their students the best possible education.

I find it very welcoming and allows for plenty of interaction while getting the good education we all need from the school.

There is always something for everyone when food is on the mind (and belly).Whether its a quick bite or something more refined. It is all available.

The new garages should alleviate some congestion in parking. usually i take early classes to avoid the rush and have no trouble getting parking unless i show up late where i will have to stalk people for their spots.

as far as i know, i don't know. but in personal experiences, i have been offered drugs and alcohol on numerous bases and declined without to much peer pressure for me, mostly because i am capable of walking away from "friends" if need be.

very convenient but always can be improved. sometimes crowded in the classroom 1 computers and a line in the union since they closed down the computer building for construction.

No Really Good Options – The best options are the busses, but to be honest you are better off using your car to get around the school and places off campus. The buses are actually pretty nice, but they have some crazy drivers.

At UCF Greek life is pretty exciting. They have parties and help out the students, school and community. Most people that are part of Greek life also hold Positions in SGA and other school related functions. It's a pretty big deal at the school, but none are stuck up and are easy to get along with.

The Dinning Scene – At UCF there are plenty of places to eat like Burger king, Sabarro, Asian Chao, Subway, and Chik-Fil-A to name a few. Like all fast food it is sort of pricey but the service is pretty good at the Student Union. The floors are clean and it is very sanitary. The only problem is that it can get really crowded sometimes and you don't have much room to sit.

Health & Safety:
Depends on Your Housing – If you're in the towers on campus? Nothing ever happens there to make you feel unsafe. The academic village however is full of weird incidents like exploding meth labs or suicide attempts. Off campus, the general rule of thumb is the farther south on Alayafaya you get, the more crime-ridden it will become.
Campus cops, by the by, don't seem to like to press charges for weed, but they will take all your glass.

Depends on who your roommates are. The facilities aren't too bad and are manageable.
College Junior 2011-07-28T17:24:19Z
Extremely Diverse – Walking around campus there seems to be an equal amount of races for the most part. Not only racially but gender wise and in sexual orientation as well. There seems to be an almost perfect balance between females and males, as well as between hetereosexuals and the LGBT community.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
