Campus Policies: Highly Enforced but Still Allows Much Freedom – There really aren't any unnecessary policies or rules on campus, just the ordinary no-cheating and personal safety rules. As a UCF student, I feel that I have a lot of freedom over what I can do on campus. Although there is a lot of freedom, UCF makes it very clear that if any rules are broken, appropriate action will be taken upon the violator with no prejudice or favoritism. Every rule is enforced and every student is treated equally.

I do not really know too much about the Greek life on campus. But from what I see and here Greek life is very good in terms of forming meeting new people. forming bonds, and getting involved with a community. Greek life is very active in recruiting on campus and offers more to college life than just partying. But don't get me wrong, there is still much partying.

The couple of times that i have eaten on campus have been pleasant. They have excelent food choices and a variety of from cold wraps and togo sandwhiches to hot selections that are worth the short wait. The price is just right and I have chosen the cafeteria over going to nearby fast foods. Overall, the food is excellent and I would recommend it to other students.

Took a While to Find Out Information – For me, the process of applying for financial aid was easy. You basically just transfer information from one piece of paper to another. But it takes a while for you to find out how much you are getting for college and it doesn't give you enough time to plan for how much money you need to spend after you receive the financial aid.

Buses Are Convenient – University of Central Florida provides bus shuttles at all hours of the day and its free for any student that attends the University of Central Florida. Also, the shuttles are very quick so no need to wait very long, and it takes you pretty far away from campus.

Variety of Classes – I now attend the University of Central Florida because it has a substantial variety of different classes. So even if your major is undecided you can take a number of distinctive classes that will help you pave your path to choosing the major you feel comfortable with.

The parking situation at my school is pretty crazy, but that's expected since it is such a large University. There are many restrictions on where you are allowed to park, so you really have to follow all rules.

Drugs at My School – Alcohol is rather abundant at my school. Many people drink or have drank. Also, marijuana is huge among students. Other drugs, you'd have to search for in order to find, but alcohol and marijuana are pretty visible.

Decent Amount. There are small bars around the school but it should also be remembered that Downtown Orlando is not a very far drive. It's very accessible and there are much more fun out there as long as you carpool, there are parking fees.

Select Few – There is only a select few group of kids who participate in the drug scene. Most students don't want to risk using drugs because of the severe consequences if you get caught. Also the university makes sure we understand the consequences if can have on yourself.

Guys & Girls:
Many of the guys at my University ride longboards, but for the most part are cool and nice individuals. For the most part, the girls at UCF are attractive and easy-going.

Awesome Spirit! Students would always show their support and UCF definitely shows that they care about their students. They always provide entertainment to keep the Knights' spirit going!

Does Not Apply to Me – I don't live on campus but I've seen the dorms before and they are very nice. They give you the opportunity to be independent for the first time but with some sort of "training wheels." Very good, would definitely recommend!

Go Knights! We have a really wonderful athletic program. We have the athletic program along with club, intramural, and rec sports teams you can join. The school spirit is awesome and the athletes always try to keep themselves at the highest standard on and off the field.

They have the top of the line computers and printers. Students are able to print up to 20 free pages a day which helps us save so much money. Also if you don't have your own computer you can use a laptop at the library to get your work done.

The gym is absolutely gorgeous. UCF takes care of it more than the library

Event Management – I am just getting started at the Rosen School for Hospitality as an event management major. I love the campus and how they treat the students. Every thing is easily accessible and I can't wait to get started in the fall.

School is what you make of it. I like the atmosphere at and around UCF. T & A gets an A+.

I never use the bus lines but I frequently walk by them on my way to classes. Seems to be convenient but I couldn't answer questions as far as reliability and timing and such.

I Don't Live on Campus – I don't live on campus in a dorm or in student housing, I live in an apartment complex near the school.

Easy Access – The immediate university area has great food. El Cerro for Mexican, Jeremiah's for custard and Italian ice, Kyoto's for cheap Japanese, and Hummus House for quick Mediterranean. All good options.

Tourist Haven – Orlando is a messy place. It doesn't have it's own identity, instead it molds to the tourists visiting. There's always something to do, but a lot of the attractions (theme parks, shows) are expensive on a college budget.
