Orlando has a lot of different types of housing available around the UCF area mainly for the students at the school who choose not to stay on campus. The housing I have seen or heard about, seem to be very affordable for college students and nice on the inside and out.

The city my school is in is WinterPark. WinterPark is a small city, we don't have a lot of attraction around here. We have a lot of dinning places and gym in the school.

Parking is typically bad from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Besides that it will not be too difficult to find parking. I have seen worse parking so I cannot complain. There's usually always parking available just depends if you m don't mind walking some.

Varsity sports is growing at University of Central Florida. The football team is good but it's not a part of Divison I football. The basketball team is also prety good. This campus celebrates its school sports but its not a big deal. We don't have expectations like other top schools.

The computer labs at the University of Central Florida are well above average. They have huge screens and modern computers. They have macs all over the place as well. The WiFi is solid in case you have your own laptop. It's safe to say you will have access to computers on campus.

Guys & Girls:
Most guys are in pretty good shape except if they are engineers. The guys are very friendly, not stuck up, and willing to socialize. The girls are mostly blonde and 80% of them are extremely attractive. Especially the ones at the gym. Only about 20% of them are stuck up, but for the most part they are very friendly as well. They dress nice and are also willing to socialize.

Health & Safety:
Overall, UCF is safe. I haven't witnessed any acts of violence since I've been here. The police and security guards always seem to be doing their job. And students seem to take care of themselves.

UCF is in Orlando, after all. Therefore, there's plenty of things to do off-campus. Orlando has plenty of job opportunities such as working in theme parks, restaurants, shopping centers, and others. Everyone seems to get along at UCF. And the school plans plenty of events and features clubs of all aspects of life.

I feel that Greek life is just an excuse for kids to throw parties and for girls to be sluts.

On a college campus someone might expect drugs to be a problem. Other than the "legalize it" club, UCF is very clean. There is even a no smoking rule on campus. I rate the school an A- due to student drinking.

Guys & Girls:
Every type of person is at the University of Central Florida. With over 60,000 enrolled students, it is not difficult to find friends.

Before I started at UCF the only reason I would ever go to Orlando was the music. Seeing the university for the first time opened my eyes to much more. There are nature trails and even an on-campus pond with free rental canoes! At night there is plenty to do, whether its getting down at a local club or looking east as a rocket launches from Cape Canaveral.

I go to the regional campus in Daytona Beach, but i am in Florida none the less. Frankly, i love the cold but the summers are unbearable. They are scorching and humid. Getting in your car and starting the A/C does not seem to help at all sometimes. Not to mention it seems we only get two seasons a year now...the winter which seems to last a couple months IF THAT and summer.....which is the remaining of the year. Its horrible.

Transportation at the University of Central Florida is very organized and convenient. It picks up and drops off every fifteen minutes.

The off-campus dinning at the University of Central Florida is great, there is a great diversity of restaurants real close to campus.

The computers at University of Central Florida are always open and run well.

I enjoy the classes a lot more then any other classes I have taken in college so far. I am very happy with them because I am learning what I need to know for my future and the classes are very interesting.

I am not in my major yet, but I am told it is a little hard to get into.

If you like a pretty big city with nightlife...Orlando is where it's at.

Lived in Libra my first year and it was good because my roommate left after 2 weeks. The hercules/nike apartments are nice but Towers is overpriced.

Pretty hard to find a spot and you have to pay for it.
College Senior 2013-08-23T00:30:09Z
It's Florida, so it is hit or miss. Most of the time it is nice and sunny. But there are also the times we experience torrential downpours. It never hurts to carry around an umbrella just in case.
College Senior 2013-08-23T00:26:07Z
There is an abundance of off-campus dining. Not only are most open late, most offer student discounts and have very friendly wait-staff.
College Senior 2013-08-23T00:23:54Z
It was very difficult to find scholarships at the University that appealed to me. It was just as difficult to qualify for financial aid due to my parents' income. I, as an individual, am paying for college, not my parents.

Parking is a pain. It's expensive and often hard to find a spot. I've heard decent things from the student who use the shuttle system though.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
