College Prowler Take
There are many options available for all types of students, whether you’re an incoming freshman or an upperclassman. UCF’s housing service has dorms that will satisfy any incoming student. These include the magnificent Nike and Hercules complexes. The kicker here is that there are also many dorms, including Pegasus Landing and Apollo, that are revolting to just about everyone and aren’t entirely safe. If you’re planning to live on campus, Academic Village is the way to go. These dorms are new, and they’re set up as apartment-style housing. They’ve even been compared to four-star hotels! Check out the other dorms before signing up for them; you never know how you will feel about someplace until you see it in person.

Avoid Apollo if you can. It reminds me of a motel! Academic Village is nice, but it's so expensive compared to off-campus housing!

Academic Village is pretty nice, but the others are dumps. They’re all way overpriced, and you can find much better places for $100; it’s sometimes $200 cheaper off campus. Avoid Pegasus Landing at all costs. It’s dirty and there have been numerous robberies and car thefts. |
