People are usually easy to talk to. I've been randomly approached for conversation by another student a couple of times. Everyone seems pretty outgoing so far.

The people on campus are amazingly easy to talk to. Some of the easiest ways to meet new people is by joining a study group or an community service group. Roommates are great for also introducing you to people that they have met along the way to.

This differs from person to person, but generally most people are nice and accepting of conversations.

I would say most people are easy to talk to from my experience. You can just go up to people and start a conversation with no hostility so its a friendly environment.
