College Prowler Take

Orlando seems to be the melting pot of Florida, and UCF’s location makes it a prime spot for a diverse campus. The campus is relatively diverse, with most students’ ethnicity being white from a middle-class background.

UCF’s campus isn’t restricted to one way of thinking; there are many religions represented, a lot of political activities going on, and there’s bound to be a club suited for everyone. The campus doesn’t discriminate, and all students are free to openly believe and practice whatever they choose. The UCF administration has made it clear in recent years that it wouldn’t have it any other way.

Social Sciences

The campus is very diverse....

The campus is very diverse. Economically, there are students from all social statuses. Ethnically, the school is mostly white, and there is a large Hispanic population. All of the different ethnic groups are represented in fraternities and sororities, as well as clubs and organizations around campus. It is easy to fit in, even on this large campus. Ideologically, politically, and sexually, UCF follows other college trends. Differences are widely accepted, and each group has the ability to express themselves and their views to the school public.

There aren’t too many rich kids on this campus. Of course many view this as a good thing. There are enough snobs on this campus as it is.
